We had a great time, thanks in part to A Perfect Pear, in Peoria Heights. We visited a nearby jeweler and then decided to walk around the neighborhood's many stores and restaurants. It's apparent that many/most of the Peoria Heights stores and restaurants are closed on Mondays, surely because they are open on Sundays. Normally A Perfect Pear is also closed, but they are available to be open by appointment, and a prior guest with an appointment departed just as we walked past. We knocked and the lady (apologies for being forgetful with your name... sorry) working let us in to look around. Apparently many people were appalled and told her this wasn't ok. She wasn't apologetic and said she could do what she wanted on her page. How do I know this?
