Then the hallway that led to the big ballroom was also very nice. The ballroom can fit I feel like almost 40 tables comfortably. Only complaint is the bathroom can be better.

As a little girl I dreamed of having a fairytale wedding- a wedding that was beautiful, magical,…read moreand the perfect backdrop to marrying my prince charming. The Willow Ballroom was it- I had my eyes on this place and crossed my fingers that one day I could get married here. Soon the time came and when my now husband and I toured the venue for the first time we were enchanted by the venue's beauty, detail, and amazing aesthetic. On our wedding day our family and friends were gushing over how incredible the Willow Ballroom was. Adjectives we have been hearing a lot are breathtaking, gorgeous, and Taylor Swift Love Story vibes. I completely agree. One reason it is breathtaking is the chandeliers and drapes. WOW, the first time I walked in they were setting up for an open house and even when everything wasn't fully set up it looked amazing! The height of the chandeliers and drapes are put at the perfect spot. The aisle I walked down on was lined with chandeliers, it made me feel like a Disney princess! All of the decor in the space is handpicked and well arranged. Every item of decor makes sense, nothing is too big or too small for the space. Also everything in the space is clean, classy, and elegant. During cocktail hour our family and friends loved the seating and table options and they said it added an extra special touch to our wedding. They also couldn't get over the beautiful giant mirrors that welcomed you into the venue. For the adjective gorgeous every step you take into the venue puts you in a state of awe. Even the bathrooms are decorated so nicely and cleanly! From the outside to inside space there are so many gems for spots to take pictures. They also have a private estate that has amazing greenery and is a pretty background for more wedding photos. Angelica and her family did a really great job giving space for couples to make their wedding picture dreams come to life. You might chuckle at the Taylor Swift Love Story adjective, but it is an absolute complement. Angelica provided a wonderful list of preferred vendors- we were able to get the vendor dream team. My family and friends couldn't stop talking about each of the vendors from signage to florist to the ice cream cart to photography etc. Usually there is just one vendor everyone loves but it seemed like nobody could pick their favorite because they were all SO good! Each of these vendors were familiar with the Willow Ballroom and all came together to emphasize the venue's magnificent features and celebrate our special day. They all took my wedding dreams and picked the best designs, colors, and food to match the venue perfectly where everyone was singing Love Story (Taylor's version) in their heads throughout the night. Angelica works well with all the vendors to inform them with accurate information and communicates in a detailed way and we are incredibly thankful for that! The Willow Ballroom is an absolute beautiful space and we highly recommend you getting married or hosting your event there!

Review of White Lotus Event Venue - 7.5/10 I'm finally…read moregetting around to writing a review. First off, White Lotus and White Orchid are owned by the same people, which was confusing when trying to book. White Orchid was harder to reach, so I ended up going with White Lotus, which shares a space with India Oven. The Good: Beautiful Venue: My wedding was a dream come true, and the venue itself was stunning. Good Customer Service: Two people, Nitu and Vinny, made the process smooth and stress-free. Nitu, the logistics coordinator, was polite, patient, and very responsive from the beginning. She gave us a thorough tour, answered all our questions, and helped with two date changes when we needed to accommodate out-of-state guests. When Nitu went on maternity leave, Vinny took over. He was equally helpful, allowing us to cater our own food by switching to a Friday booking instead of Saturday (since saturday is only if you catered from them), and he provided floor plans and quick responses via text and phone. We visited the venue three times after booking, and Vinny was always accommodating. He also adjusted the temperature and lighting on the day of the event to our liking. Smooth Rehearsal & Event Day: The rehearsal a few days before went smoothly, and Vinny remained attentive throughout the event. The Not-So-Good: Cleanliness Issues: The bar area was a mess--sticky drink stains, dirty cups, and old rags that were dry and stiff. There were stacks of dirty cups meant for use that we had to throw away. When we complained about the bar's condition, the response was simply, "I don't see anything wrong." Since nothing was done, we had to clean it ourselves, throwing out trash and clearing out the open, dirty cups that were supposed to be used for our event. When they brought out the silverware, the forks and spoons were left on the floor, and shockingly, there were cut fingernails inside the utensil bin. With no time to waste, my team cleaned what they could. The bridal suite was not cleaned properly--it wasn't vacuumed, and the mirrors and vanity drawers were dirty. Unprofessional Staff: Some of the staff, hired for floor assistance and cleaning, were sitting at our guest tables during parts of the event. Chairs were being stacked early--even before our event ended, the crew started putting away chairs while guests were still dancing and enjoying the night. Side Note: While communication with Nitu and Vinny was good, some details, including pricing and hours, changed depending on who we spoke with. Certain things needed to be written down and confirmed on the spot to avoid misunderstandings later. Availability & Communication After Signing the Contract: While Vinny was responsive and helpful before signing the contract and making our deposit, his availability and urgency noticeably decreased afterward. Maybe it could have been the busy wedding seasons? Scheduling became more difficult--initially, it was "Yes, we can do this and that", but as our wedding got closer, it became "Call when it gets closer," and then, when we did, we were told "No, we have other events on those dates." While these may seem like small issues, it added a lot of stress, especially with a large bridal party and guests coming from out of state. We ended up playing it by ear for some parts, which wasn't ideal when trying to coordinate schedules. Final Thoughts: Overall, I'd rate White Lotus a 7.5/10. Cleanliness could definitely be improved, and it makes me wonder about the condition of the food preparation areas we can't see. The venue itself was beautiful, this venue could easily be a 10/10.

I came here to attend my friend's family-friend's wedding reception! We had a great time and took…read moreadvantage of everything this banquet had to offer in their package. First off, this banquet hall is huge with beautiful decor, pretty lighting of violet, gold tone furniture, etc. the dance floor is big, the DJ stage is wide, and the buffet room is huge to accommodate a big line. Their bathrooms are clean and lots of space as well. Their service is on point. I kept observing how frequent their servers would refill waters, toss plates for new ones, food was always stocked new, etc. they coordinated well and each played their part to help with the process. I do suggest having a custodian cleaning their bathrooms at all times though. Their toilets kept piling up and the bathroom floors were getting messy by the minute. They should really have a custodian cleaning the bathrooms frequently to keep the bathroom visits pleasant. This is my only complaint but I wouldn't deduct a star from it. Their food is great tasting. They have a wide arrangement of desserts and of course, their main entrees such as fried pakura, lamb stew, butter chicken, fish, and naan, more! It was delicious and each item had lots of flavor. I absolutely loved their chai tea! I maybe had 20 refills each mug lol! Bottom line, the wedding was great and memorable. The presentation was up to par and everything here is equipt to guarantee a good reception. I'm glad I came!

We had our engagement party at Dolphins Banquet Hall last weekend. When we first met with the owner…read morethey gave us a deal and said the decorations wouldn't include fresh flowers, which I was okay with. In the beginning, planning the party was going okay, we ended up picking out decorations that day, but we only had a limited amount of time to look at the decorations, so I did request to make about 4-5 changes to our decorations from the original request. Two days before the event Suman(the owners wife) notified us that they put out only 18 tables, instead of the 20 we agreed upon. My Fiance requested for 2 more tables, and if needed he would pay extra, but thinking they wouldn't charge us more since on the contract it said 20 tables, but my fiance was incorrect, they wanted to charge us $300 extra for the table and chairs, even tho we weren't inviting more people we wanted 20 tables and 9 chairs on each table for our 180 guests. I was upset so I called Suman and asked why they would change things and ask for more money 2 days before our event?! Suman was so rude and condescending over the phone, and and finally she said to talk to her husband and decide it with him, then I had to explain to the owner that you can't say you will do something and then back out 2 days before the event, and he finally agreed to put out the 20 tables. I was so upset, what kind of owner would do this to their clients 2 days before their engagement party. So stressful, but it doesn't stop there, the day before the event the owner asked me to come and see the decorations. When I got there everything looked fine, except instead of the cloth napkins that we agreed upon they had put regular paper napkins on the table, and 3 of the tables had random centerpieces, after talking about the changes that were made, Suman said 'well you can take your money and have your party somewhere else", yes she said that to us a day before our party, so we decided it wasn't worth the stress to argue about it anymore, and told them just leave it as is and just change the 3 centerpiece to match the rest of the tables. So after all that stress we hoped there would be no more drama, but that wasn't the end, the day of the event the owner only had 19 tables out instead of the 20 which we were able to overlook, then the owner had the audacity to lock the front doors and tell us we had more than 180 guest, which was untrue, we had so many empty chairs, and we made sure to only invite 180 people and about 20 weren't even able to come. When my guests would walk outside for some fresh air they would be locked outside and would have to knock on the door for a while in order to have someone open it. My aunt went outside to get her medication, because she recently had surgery and even she was locked out, even my mom was locked outside for a while, even tho it clearly says to keep front doors unlocked during business ours. Also during the party he came up to my mom to say there were extra guests, and told us we would be charged per person. They had the security guard count every guest with a "clicker", and he was counting people who were going out and coming back in.  The owner called me the next day and said we had over 35 extra guest(which was not true) and wanted us to pay more money for that. I told him that can't be the case because we had so many empty seats and he never put the 20th table out. I asked him if he had to make more food, and he said no but we had to make more Naan, which was not true because they ran out of Naan early on, they probably didn't even put out enough Naan. It just seemed that they some how wanted us to pay more than what was agreed upon. I was debating if I should write a review or not, but I decide to because I would hate for another family to experience this. If you do decide to go with dolphins banquet hall, please make sure to get a copy of the contract that has all agreements right after you sign it, so later on they can't cross things out, and make it seem like you agreed to something else. Also I hope after reading this the owner will know it is not okay to treat your clients this way. Customer service matters, and you should not add extra stress to your clients the day of their event. Two great things about Dolphins Banquet Hall, one was the decorations were really nice, and everyone loved the food, it was really good. If we didn't have the added stress from the owners a few days before and during the event, then I would have definitly given them 5 stars.
