This company is great with amazing service. I stopped by to tell them my vision, they checked my car and told me exactly what I needed. I purchased the items I wanted and made an appointment to go in. They installed my valvetronics universal valves exhausts and added a Y pipe so I could have dual tips on both sides of my diffuser. I dropped my car off in the morning and it was complete by early afternoon. It was perfect, but it wasn't as loud as I wanted it to be. So I came back the next day and they did a mid muffler delete and it was AMAZING! My car sounds so beefy! Super quick service about 25-30 minutes. Really nice guys! I came in and got a good price on new catalythic converters, but he didnt want to give the quote in writing and gave me a pen so I could write it down myself. This was fine with me but when I came back a couple of days he said the quote was a misunderstanding and wanted $100 more than he promised. Still a good price but I didnt like that. He lowered it to "only" $50 more, as a compromise. First there was talk about replacing all 4 cats on the car, but I liked the fact that he after a while admitted that I in order to pass smog I would probably only need to change the large two front cats, since those are the ones that are metered. And that the more expensive california spec cats are actually not needed (which another mechanic said was required because the car was originally sold in CA). The new cats are good as far as I know, but the car died soon after. The other mechanic said it was the diodes in the alternator. Apparently welding can cause that, especially if they dont ground the car good enough. I have no way of knowing whether the welding performed by Advance Mufflers was actually the cause of my alternator dying, it might be unrelated too. The new alternator cost me a hefty $650 though. I would still recommend them, I dont think there is a better place in town for cats and exhausts. read more

They advertise that they open at 8AM. I showed up at 8:45 and they were still closed. I called them and they said they open at 9am and they could get me in. I showed up at 9 and they still weren't open. Waited until 915 and then left. Called them and they said that they were busy now and to bring my truck back in 2 hours. This place is garbage, poor customer service and can't keep appointments. I will take my money elsewhere. Don't waste your time with these people. Nothing like getting the run around on your day off from these guys. read more

Finding a good exhaust shop in Las Vegas that will do good custom work is a difficult proposition. There are a lot of "hack" and "tack" shops out there that really do not take much pride in their work and I've been down that road a few times. Ever since SRS Customs (Dave lays down one of the most beautiful weld beads I have ever seen and I had him fabricate a custom mandrel bent exhaust on another car) near downtown closed down due to the economy, I have been in search of another shop. The issue I had was an exhaust leak on one of the aftermarket downpipes on my AMG 63. Since this is an AMG, I am VERY particular on the workmanship. I was referred to another shop from a car forum (cannot Yelp it because they must be under a different name and using a DBA) perform the work that had sub par welds (used a 110v MIG welder that could barely penetrate the stainless steel) and still leaked at the manifold. I took it back to that shop twice and they still couldn't resolve the issue and wanted me to leave the car overnight. Hell no! From another referral, I was led to Advance Mufflers over on Rancho between Cheyenne and Craig. I met Tony, one of the technicians before the shop opened and we just talked cars. I found out that he was formerly a fabricator at a muscle car header manufacturer (forgot which company) in SoCal. We talked about header prototyping, welds, and my current situation. After our brief conversation, I felt comfortable with his knowledge and experience. Especially, since my issue wasn't a complex one. Within 3 hours, he had my downpipe removed, the flange repaired (the other shop damaged it in their attempt to rectify the situation), reposition the upper O2 sensor bung for the wideband sensor, bolted up, aligned the pipe and welded it back together. Since I liked his welds so much, I also had him redo the other downpipe. I will be coming back for them to install my X-pipe once it arrives. Would have been a 5-star, but Dave from SRS still laid a nicer weld bead. Note: If any of you Yelpers out there that have a recommendation for an exhaust shop that does above-average work and is not afraid of custom work, please message me. read more

I was referred to this place by numerous car/truck and Jeep enthusiasts. I decided to give this place a try. Very friendly and professional staff. I had them install a magnaflow muffler on my 2017 Jeep Wrangler unlimited sport. It dumps out the back over the rear axle and the muffler sits where the stock resonator use to be. I needed more ground clearance for when I'm rock crawling because i smashes my old exhaust up that was sitting at the rear bumper. The welds are beautiful and no leaks. The exhaust sounds amazing and the work is beautiful. I was watching them install a system on a bmw while I waited and the quality of work they do is amazing. They don't overly charge like most shops and they do way better work than the muffler shops I've been to before in the past. I highly recommend going to see this place for yourself. 4runner. Had Flowmaster Super 50 installed and the resonator removed (bad decision). Drone like crazy. I checked on 4runner forum. 99% of the member states NO drone if you remove the resonator. That is a load of B.S. You have to be tone deaf...if you dont hear the drone at 1800-2500 RPM. Below that RPM band, no drone. Above that RPM band. No drone. Came back today. Had a Flowmaster 2.5" branch resonator and small Dynomax minibullet (using as a tip) resonator installed. Welded. LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!! No drone. Yes.I went overboard with two resonator....But no drone (maybe a hint)....at all RPM band. Step on gas. Nice flowmaster note. Now I can cruise without ear plugs. These guy did a great job. read more

I made an 11:30 appointment the day before to get a catalytic converter, o2 sensor, and some piping fixed because it got stolen off my car. I show up 10 minutes early and a guy pokes his head into the office and asks if im here to get my catalytic fixed i say yes and he asks me to wait. I am in there for 50 minutes before i even see him again and all he does is duck his head in and go back out. No apologies offered, I haven't even gotten an estimate yet, and i have no idea how much longer itll take til someone talks to me and how long itll take them to get it done. I wait another 10-15 minutes just to make an appointment at mieneke then leave. Its not until im leaving that someone actually comes out and still offers no apology for my wait. This has been the most unprofessional experience ive ever had. I can understand being busy but at least communicate with your customers. Ridiculous. read more

My car needed a fully exhaust done, from the headers down to the back, I had already bought the catalytics and mufflers. I came in at around 2:30pm, they said they could do it for me and they did. They close at 5pm, they went over and finished it for me at 6pm. The welds looked great, all of the piping, and exhaust hangers looked all professional. The worst worst place to go. The owner himself cannot even keep a appt. I called last Saturday, Then Sunday he never made it to his shop. Even his worker was sitting outside his shop for over 2 hrs. I've called and called , even sent messages to set another appointment to get my vehicle done, He never replies. So, Like I said , he never replies, I called today to see if I can get my vehicle done today, he answered and said to come over, I asked if he is at his shop, he said YES. So I drove over there only to find out he is not there. His worker called his lazy butt and made me talk to him, He said he'll be right over, waited almost 30 minutes. Thennnnnn, without even putting my vehicle on his lift, He already told me he couldn't fulfill my needs for my vehicle. WASTED SO SO SO MUCH TIME ALL FOR NOTHING ! He just proved to me he is lazy and should never even open his doors for business with this type of behavior !
