Beware of Ranchlands Dental (RD) when they act on your behalf for a dental claim with CDCP. My claim was rejected by CDCP and RD advised me of the amount to pay for the procedure and offered a payment plan. I contacted CDCP directly and they immediately told me to have RD resubmit the claim with further details for "fresh eyes" to review my claim. After the resubmission, CDCP accepted my claim! RD never offered to resubmit my claim to CDCP and save me the cost of paying for the procedure myself. At the same time, RD front staff member, Fatemeh, did not provide professional kind service, hung up on me and left me in tears. I ended up leaving RD and having my dental work done at another dental office. Note: all active claims with the CDCP stay with the patient, not the dental office so it was easy to move on to a more caring dental office - one that has well-trained staff and one that takes the upmost care in saving patients money wherever possible. read more

STAY AWAY. absolutely do NOT go here for braces. We wanted to save some money and this place was recommended by a friend as they do braces work but they are not Ortho's therefore charge less. They allowed the technician to remove braces from my daughter's teeth that resulted in chipping off a piece of enamel which they are denying and she has been in pain ever since. This is going to result in a root canal which we have to fork more money out for. We have since found out that most orthodontists remove braces themselves and don't allow the technicians to do this. I would never recommend them to anyone. spend more and go elsewhere. read more

I can not say enough great things about Ranchlands Dental clinic! The staff is very friendly and is always so accommodating when we have any dental emergencies. Our dentist is Dr.Dhesi I have been going to him for years. He has done amazing cosmetic dentistry on myself and is probably the most gentle dentist I have been to! Dr.Dhesi always takes his time and I never feel like its all about the profit and that he truly genuinely cares. My daughters were both going to a pediatric dentist and my oldest was having problems with her fillings, Her dentist at the time wanted to charge $3000! At one of my appointments I had mentioned it to Dr.Dhesi and he told me about this new type of product that he thought may work....it did and it only cost us $300! I first went here several years ago, and it was the beginning of my dental nightmare. After the HORRIBLE job done here on my veneers, I have since had to seek out a new clinic and re-start the whole process. After paying $15,000, and my teeth falling out and breaking REPEATEDLY FOR YEARS resulting in ongoing uncomfortable dental visits, I was not refunded a penny, and instead received only the rudest customer/patient treatment by the dentists and staff because of their own embarrassment. Not all dentists here are good. Dr. Desi is THE best. The rest of them need to learn from him.

Our family has been going to Ranchlands Dental since Dr. Jaffer first opened his practice. We have like bed overseas and outside of Calgary but can't ntnue too travel to Ranchlands Dental simply because of the service and staff. Dr. jaffer is not just our trusted dentist, he has become our friend. Since his retirement, we have been extremely happy with all of the dentists and hygienists on staff. The office staff is friendly and accommodating . The email and text appointment service is fantastic. The staff, the office, the level of care and the overall running of this practice is phenomenal.
