The horses are not all the signature whites/grays of the area - several of theirs are browns etc. Several of the horses were having red watery diarrhea and didn't seem 100%. And the guide made no attempt to speak with our English speaking group or pause for taking a group picture or walk the horses into the water like other groups were doing. Great activity, do it with other providers in the area.

The ride was postponed to later in the day and they communicated that with me a day or two before due to a special event on the beach on the day I was supposed to ride. My horse Malik was very nice. He had an exceptionally soft new winter coat. He was brown although I was hoping to ride one of the white native horses. Very responsive and well mannered. Except for all the horses in our group, there were 10 of us, knew the routine. Go here, trot here, wait impatiently, now gallop as fast as you can go. The trot was very fast and uncomfortable and I was hoping for a nice slow rocking chair canter on the beach. But literally racing the other horses to the finish line was a lot of fun. Coming from the USA we have more regulations. What ever you tell them you're riding level is they will believe you so be ready. One guy in our group I think over estimated his ability and almost fell off during the gallop. I work at a ranch with 20 horses so I do speak from experience. A 3 o'clock or 15:00 was perfect for the sun going down in November. The marshes and the beach were stunning. I would recommend but next time I go I think I will pay the extra money for a smaller group or private.
