The road is lazy and just goes around the hills, slowly getting you to your destination - just like life there, no rush, no city craziness. I stopped on the top of the hill to catch the view of the waters and Narbonne... It was calling me, and I kept going. Pristine clean beach, white sand and freezing water (brrr) welcomed me soon enough - this beach is absolutely beautiful. Parking is pretty easy - found a spot on street, and walked to the beach with no shoes on. PS. Tanned tall handsome guys in speedos lounging on the beach were a plus, too PPS. With summer in full swing in NYC, I still miss all that.

I went to swin, and when I came back, one just sat on my towel, no excuses, they were grumpy when I told them it was MY towel. The problem is there are too many people like that on this beach. Better go to Carnon or La Grande Motte, the crowd is more friendly and better educated.
