They can come to your apartment when you are not at home, and they don't care what you like or don't like. everything will be the way they want. They are not interested in the comfort of residents. Deposits are not refundable. On two floors there is a balcony with a fence where people can let their dogs out, but if you put a fence on the first floor balcony, they demand that it be removed. if you need a fence it will cost an additional $500. Very stupid. I'm paying a ton of unnecessary deposits that I'll probably never get back, including my apartment rent. I regret staying here another year. I really hope that time flies by quickly. They have a lot of available apartments, but if you ask for an apartment on the 2nd floor, they will say that they do not have any available apartments. At least that's what happened to me. When Kim was working, she could have found a suitable place for you, but unfortunately she quit. Brian doesn't want to work and do something better for the apartment, he always ruins everything. If you don't want your tenants to be comfortable, don't stop them from creating comfort themselves. Even a bicycle cannot be left on the balcony or under the stairs. If you want to break the contract, be prepared to pay them a large amount up front for 2 months and don't expect your deposit to be returned. Even if you sign the contract without moving into the apartment, you will not be able to break it without paying anything.

When we moved in it seemed like a decent place but as time goes on it gets worse. For starters you have no control over the heat at all, and the ac system is a window unit built into the wall(barely even keeps the living room cool on a typical day). They claim to have a dog breed restriction, but i have seen more "restricted breeds" on the property then allowed animals. I've also learned that they will go through your stuff when they come in for whatever bs inspection they have to do. And instead of fixing the horrible parking lot, they are now requiring parking permits so they can "stop people from moving in without going through the paperwork" i couldn't imagine why people wouldn't want to be locked into a lease here Kim also told me we can't work on cars on the property because they don't want oil all over. but who cares about all the cars that leak oil in a new spot everytime they park. Although these seem nice, wait for something else to be available before you are locked into a money pit with a manager that couldnt care less about you, she just wants her pockets full and your pockets empty.

Since new management took over, it's bad faith all around. Difficult to contact (often the office…read moreis closed during office hours and the phones go unanswered), frequently no manager present, predatory billing practices, too expensive. The month-to-month contract is not actually month-to-month, because you have to give an absurd 60 days' notice of vacancy. We ended up paying an entire extra month of rent and utilities AFTER our move-out date even though we went month-to-month specifically so that wouldn't happen. Two months after our move, they're still hounding us for hundreds in "cleaning fees" even though we left the house reasonably clean. I literally scrubbed walls before I left, you're telling me you spent close to $700 to have the place cleaned? Bull. I'm still wrestling with their crappy, tangled, bureaucratic nightmare of a company even though they have already wrung an unnecessary $3 grand out of us. Do not live here.

We paid always on time, we didn't damage anything, we left the apartment completely clean the day we moved out. When we signed the lease, we were given a list with the amount they would charge if we didn't clean those areas listed. I made sure to clean everything, doors, windows, window's frame, blinds, bathrooms, oven, stove, microwave, floor, wall trim, I seriously mean everything. To my surprise, when we received our deposit check, it was missing $350, I called the office & spoke with the manager, she told me that it's a standard charge to have the apartment cleaned by someone they hire. I know that's a lie. There's no way, no way, they would waste money to have a cleaned apartment clean. Sadly, in the lease agreement they've a broad explanation/description of what/why they could charge for cleaning if they choose to do it... so, they just steal part of the deposit for no reason, at least that's in our case, but I'm sure this happens all the time. I would have been OK if they wanted to charge for cleaning if we left the apartment dirty or messy, but we didn't not. Their dishonesty & lack of consideration is a slap in the face, because we trusted they would keep their word. Shame on them. Don't trust what they tell you. Remember, even if it's in writing, they can still rip you off & have no remorse.
