He refused to listen to me when I asked him to ask the judge about removing my ankle tracker. His response to my being scared to go home with the ankle tracking device when the judge said it was ok for me to go home "they just want to know where you are at." "They can't arrest you." I called Maywood court house..their response "You are going to be arrested! Why didn't he put a motion to have the ankle tracker removed?" Hum cuz he's a dumb ass! I told him what Maywood court said. His response "They don't know what they are talking about. I'm a lawyer their not." Hence, police showed up at my door 5 minutes after I was home. I had to go back to court to file a motion to get the tracking device removed when I had asked him to do this even the day before our court date. I fired him and replaced him with an experienced attorney that had my case dismissed the same day he took over my case. I asked Brett for some of my 750.00 deposit back. He emailed me an invoice charging me for his "free consultation" because I fired him. Do not use this lawyer. He is horrid and lacks experience and seriously morality to stoop so low to charge me for a free consultation when I was 5 minutes away from being arrested because he refused to listen to me. Look at his older reviews. Don't risk using this guy.
