Very rarely write reviews unless they're positive, but based on the experience I had with…read moreO'Flaherty, felt it was important for others as they choose a law firm. Hired O'Flaherty and paid a flat fee for their firm to complete ten (10) quick claim deeds to transfer properties from individual ownership into our family trust. Normally this process would take a few weeks, and the majority of time is waiting on the County registrar to process the deeds. Started this process in October and finally completing the transfer seven (7) months later. A short list of O'Flaherty's performance - Incorrectly filled out all ten (10) quick claim deeds - incorrectly inputted multiple parcel ID's, after I sent all of them in the correct format - incorrectly submitted eRETR transfer requests leading to multiple rejections by the County Registrar - Incorrectly tried to charge me a transfer fee of 3% on our total property valuation ( over $75k), without having any idea that transferring property into a trust does not incur charges in WI (I was forced to spend hours calling into the County to confirm the transfer fee exemption process) - was scolded by their lawyers stating that they were only contracted to complete the quick claim deeds, and had no responsibility to submit any documentation for transferring deeds, when this is the only reason I called a law firm in the first place Never once in 7 months followed up on the status, or lackthereof, of the deed transfer process; every update was predicated on my countless emails and phone calls - leaving the names of specific POC's off this review as this is indicative of the entire firm and not one person in particular
