After booking Village Florist, we had our in-person mock-up meeting with Kathy, and it made us even more excited about our decision. I loved spending time in her shop! Kathy is such a joy to work with. She really listened to our vision while also offering her professional expertise in ways that elevated every detail. I showed her a Pinterest inspiration photo for our centerpieces, and she recreated the look--but somehow made it ten times more beautiful than I ever imagined. Dotties is located on the corner of Reseda and Sherman way with parking located in the back of the building turn right before the tire shop. I thought it's full so I actually parked at the park and go area it's only 0.25 cents per 30 min. When I was walking up I realized that you can park on the other side of the fence too. On entering the whole shop smells fresh like flowers and I was greeted with a friendly hello. Staff went to get me my bouquet while I browsed. The carnations really caught my eye they were so pretty. When I was handed the bouquet I was really impressed by the beauty. These flowers are very good quality and fresh. I love them so much. My bouquet includes a couple roses, daisies, carnations, and some greenery. Thank you Dotties! I know where to come when I need to get my flower fix!

Came in with my daughter on March 11th for a lilac colored prom dress. We place an order fully…read moreunderstanding that two dresses may have to be purchased to alter into one. On April 13th we got a call saying they couldn't get the dress she wanted and we had to pick a new one. My daughter went in the next day and picked a new one that was Eggplant ( wasn't what she wanted but she went with it.) On April 18h she had her first firing. We asked for a slit and straps were suggested to keep the dress up. We agreed and paid the remaining balance for the dress. On May 2nd (prom is May 10th!) I reached out to request another fitting. We went in on the 3rd and at that time the straps were too big, not shinny to match the top and the inside lining was showing on the slit. I was told that they could fix it in like 30 minutes so we wouldn't have to come back. I let them know that I wanted it done right and I would come back in a few days to pick up the dress. On May 8, I reached out to confirm the dress is ready and went to pick it up. It's probably my fault that I didn't have my daughter try on the dress again, but I had been a long drive from LA and I thought it would have been done right. When it came time to put on the dress, you can see that the straps were different design from the top of the dress as well. They were still too long so I didn't hold up as promised. As well, you could still see the fabric on the slit. We had to pin the straps to her bra to keep them from coming off of her shoulder. It's quite disappointing because Sylvia was so nice when we first came to the store and that's originally why I went along with the order because she promised she can give what we wanted I understand that things happen with vendors and what not but if I would have known, the dress wouldn't have been altered correctly, I would have went somewhere else and just forget my original deposit I left on the first day. The two stars is because I believe this may have been a one off situation because everyone was so nice but the false promises ultimately made this experience very disappointing.
