I drove over to meet with Kathy and finalize the order. Kathy is amazing!!!! The floral shop is gorgeous and filled with the most beautiful fresh flowers and arrangements to choose from. I even witnessed some arrangements being made for an upcoming wedding and they were beautiful! They also have some plants there as well. I love supporting small family owned businesses especially when they are so nice and accommodating as Kathy is. Turns out that I also wanted arch flowers for our ceremony and even though it was 4 weeks before the event, Dottie's Flowers delivered and they didn't break the bank. I started with zero idea of what I wanted, so they were helpful in guiding my chaotic bride brain and once I was able to look through some inspiration photos online, they matched my image seamlessly. The artist arrived to the venue timely and all of the flowers were absolutely beautiful. She also arranged the linen on the arch to go with the flowers. I have to say, I was such a mess leading up to my wedding and I was quite frankly over organizing everything, but Dottie's Flowers really exceeded expectations and the flowers lasted WEEKS after the wedding. Attempted to contact the owner 2 times over email back in April and was ignored.

Came in with my daughter on March 11th for a lilac colored prom dress. We place an order fully…read moreunderstanding that two dresses may have to be purchased to alter into one. On April 13th we got a call saying they couldn't get the dress she wanted and we had to pick a new one. My daughter went in the next day and picked a new one that was Eggplant ( wasn't what she wanted but she went with it.) On April 18h she had her first firing. We asked for a slit and straps were suggested to keep the dress up. We agreed and paid the remaining balance for the dress. On May 2nd (prom is May 10th!) I reached out to request another fitting. We went in on the 3rd and at that time the straps were too big, not shinny to match the top and the inside lining was showing on the slit. I was told that they could fix it in like 30 minutes so we wouldn't have to come back. I let them know that I wanted it done right and I would come back in a few days to pick up the dress. On May 8, I reached out to confirm the dress is ready and went to pick it up. It's probably my fault that I didn't have my daughter try on the dress again, but I had been a long drive from LA and I thought it would have been done right. When it came time to put on the dress, you can see that the straps were different design from the top of the dress as well. They were still too long so I didn't hold up as promised. As well, you could still see the fabric on the slit. We had to pin the straps to her bra to keep them from coming off of her shoulder. It's quite disappointing because Sylvia was so nice when we first came to the store and that's originally why I went along with the order because she promised she can give what we wanted I understand that things happen with vendors and what not but if I would have known, the dress wouldn't have been altered correctly, I would have went somewhere else and just forget my original deposit I left on the first day. The two stars is because I believe this may have been a one off situation because everyone was so nice but the false promises ultimately made this experience very disappointing.
