100 percent satisfied with the work from Mudd Turf Specialties!…read more Not only can Dan excell in the realm of home landscape and irrigation, but he thrives in the sports turf world as well. He is extremely knowledgeable and has a vast amount of resources and connections to get the job done. Also, He can work with any budget, big or small, and still provide thorough professional results. I had Dan come down and help me with my infield turf project. His role was to help remove turf and prep the area for new sod. Given the scope of work, I had thought the removal of 10,000 Sq ft. of grass would have taken a few days at least. Nope. Dan was able knock it out in a full day, essentially allowing more time to get the little details done and and thoroughly prep the ground for new sod. He was also able to help consult and lead me in the right direction in making sure my new sod grew in strong and healthy! All in all, I highly recommend Mudd Turf Specialties for your next home or stadium/park project!

We were impressed with the cleanliness and perfectionist workmanship this company provides. Their attention to detail and quality of work truly set them apart. The pavers went back in looking brand new. They did all of this extra work and still kept the original agreed price. Ross, the owner, visited or called every day. Very little had been done to the patio area and landscaping in general, and it really needed modifications. A section on the patio was artificial turf that needed to be removed and concreted - mission accomplished. The entire patio was void of plants and required plant selection, preparation and planting - beautifully done! Irrigation was added by cutting and removing/replacing concrete/brick and adding a system that takes care of all the new and potted plants - completed. The remaining landscaping around the house was changed by removal of most existing plants, selecting and adding new plants, boulders, irrigation, removal of mulch and adding beach pebbles. We could not be happier with the end result. Thank you, Alfonso, for your attention to detail and the beauty you provided us. We get to watch it grow, and enjoy it every day!

They always arrived on time for the bi-monthly service, trimmed my lawn and edges perfectly, were able to quickly diagnose and fix my sprinkler issue, and also recommended some insect-control treatments for some of the hedges and plants in my front yard. After seeing the quality of work Will and his team do, I decided to choose WAS Landscaping as my landscaper for a backyard revitalization project I'd been putting off for the past year. I've wanted to transform the backyard into a low-water landscape, since one lawn is enough water-wise in San Diego. Will jotted down my vision and ideas and came back with a full plant list and a mock-up of design. Over the course of a couple weeks, he got the land graded, the plants installed, and even helped me understand maintenance needs for the installation. In terms of pricing, I think WAS Landscaping is very fair for the quality of work they do. It's not easy to find a very knowledgeable landscaper who's willing to go the extra mile. For me, the value is definitely there, since Will is consistent, easy to talk to, and really knows his stuff. He does the job right every time. Couldn't recommend WAS Landscaping enough!
