We were visiting from out of town and were looking for a particular plant and called and spoke with Mr. Ramirez and decided to make a visit to the nursery. We are glad we did as we enjoyed seeing all the plants available, and when we found the plant we wanted but needed a five gallon rather than a gallon container size, he said he would go to another site and in minutes he came back with what we needed! Sadly there is no guarantees for plants so be for warned. I bought several fruit trees, two of which were avocados both planted the same and one died. I called a week and half after and was told sorry No guarantees. To bad for me!! Home Depot has a generous policy that allows you to return expired greenery for up to a full year, as long as you save the receipt. Looks like i will be going back to Hm depot for my plants. Tried to help the local nurseries its not working out for me. read more

It all happened at once. I got one milkweed plant to start a monarch nursery in my front yard and the hungry caterpillars ate everything down to the steam. So, I went back to Juan Ramirez and bought 15 more plants. The plants are very healthy, stayed alive all season and I have a monarch statuary! I will only shop at Ramirez for my plants. Shady AF! Plants are priced clearly on the outside but when you go to check out they call "their boss" and say it costs more than it's marked...and this is the 2nd time they've done it. They want cash only and don't honor the pricing that is marked - something shady going down. read more

This is a great nursery if you're going for the plants and not all the fluff. Great selection of everything from fruit trees (5gal $30) to bedding plants, mature trees bushes,shrubs and starter plants. I also started out as a customer on Los Berros as I understand it, this business had to move from there due to water issues. I was super excited to find them again at this new location. You can find anything you need at reasonable pricing without having to pay for the premium rent of the other nurseries in the areas. Juan will also order in anything you're looking for. You will also be lucky on some occasions to find some trees and plants that have out grown their too small containers but then you get a 15 gal $ for a 24" box $ . They have alway been nothing but fair in their pricing but if you're looking for fairy gardens,gazing balls and trinkets you won't find them here. If you're up for a hunt to find the perfect tree this is the place as it probably 10 acres and they're still getting it organized and in shape. It's not perfect by a long shot but it's a small family run place that they are working hard to improve and are making great strides to do so. I think it's pretty sad and irresponsible for the first person to give a bad review of this nursery just because they moved. Very undeserved and can really ruin a persons business and lively hood. This nursery has the best selection, prices and service in the county. After making six stops at different nurserys, one a wholesale nursery, I "discovered" Rameriz and will never waste my time with others again. Their plants were larger, less expensive and they loaded my car. They are located a few hundred yards up FOWLER LANE (dirt road), JUST NORTH OF THE CONTINUATION HIGH SCHOOL. read more
