Very large multi-page menu... never a good sign.

This was a misteak. At first glance we didn't know it was empty on a Saturday night due to all of the fake flower decorations. I don't want to be mean because our family's taste may be different from other's... is that nice? Anyways the appetizers were store bought and soaked in grease, yes soaked... and burnt. The sweet and sour pork was a combination of schnitzel and what tasted like tomato sauce. I believe it's called Asian fusion?

    Great atmosphere.

I'm half Thai, half American and I love Thai food. I ordered guay tiew nam gai (Thai noodle soup…read morewith chicken) and my boyfriend got the gaeng panaeng muh (panaeng curry with pork). My noodle soup was good but the broth was quite oily and lacked a key ingredient: roasted garlic. I also felt that they were stingy with the cilantro and green onions. Peanuts were also lacking. They didn't have any fish sauce either, which was disappointing. Nevertheless, I wolfed it down and was satisfied. I was happy that I could find a restaurant in Innsbruck that even offers that dish on the menu. I tried my boyfriend's curry and it was nothing special. Pretty subpar. I wouldn't say it's the fault of the cook, but rather the specific curry paste that she used (Mae Ploy), which seems to be the only kind available here in Innsbruck and most of Europe in general. It was salty and just not that great. However, I will say that the service was great and we got our food pretty quickly. The prices are awesome for Innsbruck and the food itself is satisfactory. You probably won't find better Thai food here. I would go back again. They have a great menu.

Curry...All I want is to get is more of that curry...One of the best ever. I love Thai restaurants…read morethat make great curry, BUT this place is probably the best in Bavaria. The place is very friendly. The staff understand enough English to get the point across and they speak a little not, but the menu is in English too so just pick a number and eat. I might never get anything other than the curry, but anything in that place is great looking and smelling. Drink selection is good too. It doesn't get too busy, but they should. Parking stinks, but its Germany....Short walk to AFRC and downtown.

I had a spicy beef and vegetable dish, along with a couple of Tsing-Tau's and fried bananas for dessert. I am well familiar with the high sodium, MSG infused pre-made food many restaurants use, but didn't find that, here. The food was convincingly fresh, the meat was good, the sauce was not too oily and not too salty. Everything tasted delicious and it didn't take much to fill me up. I had leftovers for a complete dinner the next day. When I opened the box, the food looked every bit as appetizing as it had the night before. My wife had chicken curry - you can taste curry made from scratch, and this was it. Delightful! Also, the ginger bits are not dyed, here. They are the natural color. Overall, I found this to be among the better Chinese (and some fusion) restaurants I have visited, with fresh, yummy food, nice people, and reasonable prices.

Things just went downhill from there. We ordered fish cake appetizer (2/5)- these were 6 small Thai fish cakes that you could buy from frozen section of Asian supermarket, served with Mai Ploy Thai dipping sauce. Most people would have considered reselling frozen supermarket stuff for premium price a last straw but this was actually a good thing for them. It actually was edible (hence (2/5 ratings). The horror was about to unfold. For entrees, we ordered pad Thai chicken (1/5) & chicken teriyaki (0/5). Boy! The "chef" (very loosely described) had no clues how to cook anything. Pad Thai had no tamarind sauce in it, just a flavorless stirred fried rice noodle with 3 patties of chicken breasts that were overly salty. Chicken teriyaki was served with sautéed veggies and some kind of very runny sauce. Just imagine 3 patties of very salty chicken swim in very saucy vegetables and white rice. The sauce is no teriyaki in anyway, more like water, soy sauce and corn starch with together and just called it teriyaki. Of all the places we have been traveled to, this place is on top of my list for "the worst food around the world". PS- we forgot to take photos for pad Thai and fish cake appetizer but I'm sure you can imagine from the chicken "teriyaki" pic

Food was served promptly... but the food was dry and bland for out taste. Atmosphere was good but it was somewhat difficult to get service. Good stop for Thai food in pinch.
