Buying a used RV is always hit or miss, but it would be nice if they could be honest when they are…read moredealing with you. We purchased a 2019 5th wheel and realized it was used and leather would have issues, and components may be tired, but when you ask how the fireplace works and they skip by it and say good, but the remote is not available at the moment when what they mean is, "NO, it doesn't work, that tends to irk me. Then there's the issue that the large slide doesn't go out all the way, or the fact that on delivery they forgot to put the electric cord in the camper so I had to ask for it and wait 20 minutes while they played tag as to who was at fault. OK, maybe being a bit picky, so when I contact them and say I need to replace the fireplace, not looking for any favors because, as they pointed out, when you leave with it, there's no warranty, I just wished to replace the fireplace myself and thought I could get a deal by buying from them. I got; I will get right back to you. That was a couple weeks ago and I'm pretty sure the crickets that I've heard are going to continue. If it weren't for the fact that the rv we got from them was what we were looking for I'd be regretting the purchase. We love our 5th wheel, we just hated the service and bullshit we had to go through.

Update: Since my initial complaint, we hired JAL Mobile RV…read moreRepair to inspect and service the Onan 5500 generator your dealership claimed had been inspected and was in good working order. The findings clearly show the service was either incomplete or never performed: Critically low oil -- no evidence of an oil change ever being done. Cracked, heat-damaged exhaust. Clogged, deteriorated fuel filter. Leak in the main water board due to a damaged fitting. The total cost to correct these issues was $688.83, which we paid out of pocket. I have photo and video documentation of each issue, along with the repair invoice. Despite these findings and repeated outreach, we have still not received any response from the General Manager. The lack of follow-up or accountability is unacceptable and will be included in my formal complaints to the BBB, South Carolina Consumer Affairs, and other consumer protection agencies.

Dumb us forgot our trailer keys and had a problem with lifting the legs in the trailer which meant a 20-30 minute drive back to the home to retrieve them. After already helping us out, Susan W. came out to help us with our new issue. She brought out Bobby the manager of service and they not only helped with trailering our truck and Arctic Wolf, they gave us new knowledge on safety and maintenance. Outstanding!! Ryan and Lori were also willing to help with 100% customer service. Really appreciate their help, knowledge they were shared, and excellent customer service. They're all an huge asset to Camping World's Service Center.

I'm so disappointed w/ CW. My fiance & I bought a brand new RV to start our life together & 1 thing…read moreafter another everything was breaking & falling apart. For a young couple whom 1 of us is handicapped it was incredibly stressful! What was supposed to be an amazing journey became an absolute nightmare. RV was under full warranty so we thought they would honor us & take care of us. They forced me to go thru our insurance & I was baffled by not only that but also how it took 2+ months to complete repairs. While we were grateful we were able to stay there w/ hook-ups we were directly on a highway so not ideal & we were stuck since we live full-time in RV it put a huge wrench in our travel plans & cost us a lot of money in a state we have no family or friends. Justin & Bryce the tech treated us w/ courtesy & respect & did good work but that's the best they've got going for them. Then after 2+months when repairs were thought we'd finally be on our way & nope we got hit w/ another tornado our truck broke down & I had a medical emergency so wound up in the hospital for a few days. To thank us for our loyal business they threatened to tow our vehicles. We felt totally helpless. We had our backs up against a wall like we were being raped from every which way. The worst part is for a fully disabled handicapped guy he had to handle a lot of things by himself in which he was injured in the process & to watch the love of my life struggle & get hurt trying to impress me was heartbreaking. He NEVER should've been securing things in order to bring it to camping world when they have remote techs that could've been sent out. An amputee should NEVER be up on a ladder doing what they should've done. Don't do business w/ camping world unless you have no time frame & endless $$$. So much for a warranty & doing right by your customers. We'd only had the RV for a few months.
