I noticed that in all my and my friends' rooms, there is more than enough space to put another bed - or even two, perhaps. The lobby is elegant but simple and cozy - my friends and I hung out here too. Our rooms also include breakfast, particularly Pinoy breakfasts of tapsilog, bangsilog, and more. The room rates start at around P2,500+. The staff are friendly and efficient. It was quite pleasant talking with them. What is also nice about Orion Hotel is its location. For those taking the PNR to Tutuban (which is what some of my friends did), Orion is just a short walk away from the station. And of course, since you're in Tutuban, that means cheap clothes. My friends and I were able to shop for some really good finds there.

The court, according to my boyfriend, is pretty okay, though the height of the actual ring stand is lower compared to other courts he has played in. Hindi ko alam if he's just saying that because they always had a hard time winning a game in that court or what. Hahaha. #mean From a spectator's standpoint, it has better ventilation mainly because the walls are pretty open. There are gaps in the walls which serve as a passageway of air for anyone inside. I've been to other courts before and this one ranked higher than most when it came to ventilation. I must note, though, that the court takes up so much space so you won't be able to sit on benches or bleachers. Swerte na if you find a bench where players usually put their stuff at. Ito na ata yung rurok ng tagumpay ng pagiging cheerleader girlfriend ko! Somebody give me an award! Hahaha. After playing, players can take a shower however they need to go down one floor and walk thru the other side of the floor then go up again to see the CR/Shower Room. The gate found in the basketball court which should be where the CR is located is always locked for some reason. The shower room only has 2 slots and does not have a dressing area. Think of it as a CR with 2 shower slots with no chairs/benches found. (All I can say is thank God, I don't have to take a shower there.) For those looking for a quick grub after playing or cheering in my case, you can get food downstairs as they have a Burger Machine stall right outside the building. There's also a Purple Oven branch and the Galli Village Café if you want some quick caffeine fix. According to my SO, rate for the basketball court rental is about 800 pesos per hour. Pretty affordable since we're talking about a court in the heart of Makati.

Service was friendly throughout, but quite slow both at check-in to check-out. The room was simple but spacious with two single beds, a wardrobe and a desk. The bathroom, though without going abroad, was well vented. But my complaint was the noise. The air conditioning equipment was old and sounded a lot, and also the room overlooked a small courtyard where the air outlets of kitchen which were installed, were too loud.

The heavenly theme is quite amusing, with the receptionists playing the role of angels, with wings and all. With this hotel, there are no pretensions of being what it's not. Minors are not allowed, unlike some similar hotels which allow families to check in with their kids. So Hotel Paradis is really for couples to engage in that most pleasurable of activities, good old fashioned sex. To add to the excitement, this is the only hotel that I know of that also sells sex toys for those checking in. There are a couple of sidewalk vendors along Avenida who sell these adult toys, but most folks are too shy to buy them out in the open.
