Looking to rent a water slide and other equipment for one of our development grand openings. Their website is very outdated and I wrote asking if they had any pictures. The response I got was so incredibly rude and unprofessional. "Maybe because you don't know how to use a web-page I'm guessing???? Matt and his crew are awesome!!! I called them on a Tuesday afternoon looking for some large tents to rent for a graduation party that same Saturday (I know I'm stupid for waiting so long to order the tents) I actually talked to Gary on the phone and he said they didn't have any tents available for them to put up, but they did have 2 20x20 tents available but I'd have to set them up and take them down myself. He also said that it's a fairly easy thing to do if you have another person helping you. So I rented the 2 tents and 2 38" fans for the cost of having only 1 tent put up by any other company, so their prices are very budget friendly. I'm disabled so I had my buddy come over to help me put them up. First one took about 45 minutes from start to finish and the second one took 25 minutes from start to finish. Hardest part is driving the stakes in the ground. I'll definitely be using them again. Plus when you are in their showroom you can see a ton of things to rent on hand. Things I never thought about, but it's a lot cheaper than buying tools you'll only need a few times in your life. read more

I'm not even sure I know where to even begin as this may be a novel. I initially contacted the Clayton store and told them that I was looking into tables, chairs and linens for a party. They sent me to the Goldsboro store (which at the time, had no idea it was that far away from me and did not realize that they gave me the number to a storefront in Goldsboro) but I spoke with Melissa, who is extremely kind, and she started the order for me and by the time I got to the part where I told her about delivery for 5 round tables, linens to go on the tables, 50 chairs, and a chandelier she informed me that Goldsboro was a haul so Clayton has some of the same things there except for the chandelier. I informed her that the chandelier was important and I needed it to be a part of the party. They bounced me back to Clayton to put the order in there. Once we got to finalizing they gave me a hard time about the location of the chandelier in Goldsboro and they couldn't go get it. I got very frustrated from being bounced around. Gary finally called me back and told me that he was going to make it right and he would personally go get the chandelier and take it to the Clayton store. I was thrilled that he was so helpful. I paid in full and hung up. Fast forward to the day of the party. The delivery driver pulls up and has 8 RECTANGULAR tables, RECTANGULAR linens, 50 chairs and a chandelier. Half of the order was correct. After so back and forth with the deliver driver, I told him that I never got a bill of sale e-mailed to me or anything so I didn't sign off on anything. I called Gary to find out what the issue was and why rectangular tables and linens were sent when I wanted circular. He told me that 'He went over this with me twice' and argued with me that I was incorrect. He also told me that 'He wanted to refund me my money and just be done with this'. The poor delivery driver (who's name I cannot recall but extremely nice guy) was mortified and went back to get the tables AFTER HOURS to make it right. The store owner has ZERO tact. His employees have more tact than he does. All I can say is thank goodness for that delivery driver that day or otherwise this party wouldn't turned out. I have to be honest in saying that I shouldn't be surprised though seeing as how when my husband rented a piece of equipment, when he went to pick it up, it was already rented to someone else. So all in all, NO, do not rent from Ram-Rent-All. read more

I rented a wet/Dry moon bounce from Ram Rent all. They said please no food or drinks inside the bounce house or you will lose your $75 deposit. Well I hooked the water hose up like the employee showed me in the book while in the store. There were no foods or drinks inside the bounce only the water from the hose. They took $50 from my deposit saying I returned it dirty...if anything I returned it wet not dirty. It's a wet/dry bounce house. Well I know my money won't hurt them...but I will never rent another moon bounce from them. Bad business in my eyes. read more

We have been pleased with every rental we have used them for. As a local business ourselves, it is nice to work with kind people that go out of their way to ensure quality customer service. We have rented tablecloths and a tent on a regular basis for the business and also some yard equipment for our personal use. The equipment was in great working condition and after they showed us how to use the tiller, we were able to till our yard in no time to plant new grass. I had my first and last experience with Ram Rent-All on hwy 70 in Clayton this past weekend. I'm assuming Garry Bunn the manager or owner or whoever he is thinks he is above making customers happy. I rented a 2 man auger from them Saturday afternoon at 12. They were helpful and loaded the auger and bit for me. When I unloaded it at about 3 pm i discovered that they had sent me home with a bent bit. I couldn't contact anyone because they close at 12;30 on Saturday and dint open again until Monday morning. Being stuck with the bit I decided to do what I could with it since I had help to install my fence already there. The job was 3 times harder than it should have been due to the faulty equipment which only allowed us to get half way through the 320 ft fence. I took it back this morning at the time designated and told them what had happened. I was confronted by " the all knowing" Garry Bunn, who immediately accused me of bending it. I again tried to explain the situation but was interrupted by being told "what I had obviously done to it". After a shouting match with him I was told that we were going to have to just agree to disagree and that I was never allowed back there again and that he didn't want my business or anyone else's business that I knew. He then had the arrogance to give me his card and say that I could have anyone I knew call him if they didn't like his way of doing business. Worst service I have ever encountered and would strongly advise everyone to look somewhere else to avoid this experience. Sorry for getting long winded but I felt it was necessary to describe it all in detail. read more

Several weeks before my daughter's wedding, I ordered and paid in full for 4 columns and 1 easel. When we went to pick the order up, they only had 2 columns ready so we had to wait while they dug out two more and of course fill out a new invoice without even an I'm sorry for your time. When our decorater set a hand painted canvas on the easel, the easel (which was well-scratched and worn) fell apart and poked a hole in the canvas. When I told them about it, their attitude was so what? When one of the columns came in, there was some minor damage to the bottom corner. It looked like a dog had chewed it. The column had been in our truck, the church, and back in our truck... We simply cannot think of anyway it could have been damaged unless there church has a guard Chihuahua at night. The lady was extremely angry and of course kept our deposit while not even apologizing for our canvas. My advice is just buy your own stuff at Hobby Lobby and sell it later. But if you do rent, take pictures of everything before you leave the shop with it and kiss your deposit goodbye. read more
