We purchased two recliners from Harvey Norman Bundall for approximately $4000 after waiting a…read moresignificant amount of time for them to be manufactured and delivered. Unfortunately the experience since then has been extremely disappointing. Due to repairs being carried out in our home following Cyclone Alfred, the lounges remained stored in their original manufacturer boxes while work inside the house was being completed. When we finally unpacked them, both chairs immediately displayed the same faults. From the first use there was a loud mechanical clunking noise and the footrest mechanism intermittently fails to elevate properly during normal use. These issues occur on both recliners. A technician attended and acknowledged that the spring mechanism required adjustment. Despite both chairs showing the same faults, the store has taken the position that this is only a minor issue and that a simple adjustment is the only remedy they are willing to offer. In addition, the recliners are extremely uncomfortable to sit in for any extended period of time. They are honestly the most uncomfortable chairs we have ever sat in and we are in our fifties and have owned many different lounge suites over the years. After approximately thirty minutes of normal sitting the discomfort becomes significant enough that the chairs cannot reasonably be used for extended seating. A recliner that cannot be comfortably used for normal sitting or reclining is not performing its basic function and raises serious concerns about whether the product is fit for its intended purpose, particularly for a purchase of this value. During discussions with the store, the franchise owner stated that the footrest behaviour was common and that in his thirty years of selling lounges it is normal for the footrest not to engage properly without adjusting your weight. We found this surprising as we have owned lounges for decades and have never experienced this issue with any recliner we have previously used. The most disappointing part of this situation has been the way it has been handled by store management. Communication has felt dismissive and inflexible, with little willingness to genuinely engage with the concerns raised or work toward a fair outcome. As customers living with disabilities, functional seating is not simply a comfort It directly affects everyday usability in our home and that context did not appear to be taken seriously or even considered during discussions with the store. After waiting so long for the lounges to be produced and paying around $4000 we expected far better quality and after sales support from a major national retailer. Instead the experience has left us feeling that the faults are being minimised rather than properly addressed. Because the store has refused to resolve the issue fairly or provide a refund we will now be pursuing the matter through the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal. This is not a step we wanted to take but we have been left with no reasonable alternative other than to formally dispute the matter and deal with the time, stress and legal process that comes with that. We hope Harvey Norman head office reviews how this situation has been handled, as the current response from the Bundall franchise has been extremely disappointing for customers who simply expected functional furniture and reasonable after sales support

Of my hobbies is hula hooping, and out of all the hula hoops I have used and had, the one I got…read morefrom three worlds was the best by far, I still have it with me now. The hula hoops are of exceptional quality, don't break, and are hand decorated with tape however if you do not like the colours of the tape on your hula hoop, you can take it of and have your hula hoop plain (it will still have a nice colour) or you can replace the tape with colours and patterns that you like! Their hula hoops are reasonably priced, and although I have not tried them, they also sell portable versions that break down into pieces then fit in a case, perfect and convenient if you need to travel with yours. Service is also great, the staff are informed about what they sell and most of them have hobby's that this store caters for, so they know what they are talking about and can assist you with picking out your perfect product. The lady that served me was also a hula hooper and helped me learn some new tricks for no additional fee, just happy to help out! I most definitely recommend, and if I ever need anything that this store may sell, I will be sure to come back!

Dear Steve, I want…read moreto thank you so warmly for your outstanding support and guidance when I purchased our intercom/video system and then throughout the unusually very long process of its installation (all due to my electrician's ineptitude). You, no matter how many times I, or my electrician, my builder or my home grown 17 year old techo called or texted you asking for assistance, you greeted us all with kindness and gentle patience. I am enormously grateful for your help. I truly value buying from people who show genuine interest and care, rather than connecting with someone who just wants to sell (or offload) a product.... I feel I not only received a terrific product but more so an exemplary experience, that has allowed me to feel confident and very satisfied that together with your expert advice, I made the best decision for my needs. This experience I had with you was something I have never had before when buying a product sight unseen online. Thank you! Buying from you has honestly been the most satisfying experience - and now that our system is working, I am beyond happy that I bought from you and invested in your products. I have already spoken to many of my friends, recommending your services and your products. I thank you warmly. I wish you well. With gratitude!!! Eli

Ok so I have mixed feelings about this business…read more On one hand, I have bought a few items from the store and LOVE all of them. On the other, I ordered custom dining chairs, rang constantly for 6 months to see what was going on, got the run around every time and then had them tell me it was going to be even longer so I asked for my money back. Which they gave. But that left me very disappointed. So for in store purchases I highly recommend. But for ordering custom made items, no sorry lost my vote due to poor service.

Now, that's nothing special, but trying…read moreto make it feel like a beach house - when it's 250m from the soft sand of the ocean - is a somewhat different story. The listing agent said the house was on the cusp of Palm Beach's CBD, which I didn't even know existed. However, with a purchase price that was too good to refuse we ventured forth, bought the place, then set about adapting it to our likes, and that of the locale. And then we discovered what being on the edge of the Palm Beach Central Business District was about. We found this incredible store - Sealife Interiors - that had some of the most attractive and unique home wares imaginable, with a real commitment to style and individuality. Pete and Paul, the owners, have created an oasis of oceanic treasures that are capable of making any house a home, with a funky range of furnishings that are often one-of-a-kind. There's everything from shell creations to drift wood sculptures, special fabrics, lighting, sofas, chairs and other classics that are rarities and not priced for just the rich and famous. We've added oodles of oceanside charm to our home for less than $300 and this place is highly recommended if you have a beachside residence, or are just a fan of everything ocean to decorate your abode anywhere you live. The guys also specialise in interior design and decorating so if there's something special you're after, just let Pete know. He'll turn it into the perfect item that you've always been passionate about.
