Another local HVAC company said they would charge $6,000 to clean it and recommended replacing the entire system with a new one because they did not work on LG. Corey from Silverman came out and took a look and said Silverman would charge roughly $200-$300 dollars for cleaning, confirmed that the unit was in good working order, and gave us simple instructions so we could DIY the cleaning instead. We decided to go the DIY route but Silverman has definitely won our repeat business. Honesty and professionalism are the way to build a business, not trying to fleece your customers like the other company did.

They conducted a thorough investigation, diagnosed the underlying issue and recommended a treatment plan tailored to fully eliminate the odor. Since June '23, their technicians have been on point- responsive, knowledgeable and consistent. We also decided to invest in a specialized water filtration system as part of a more thorough solution, not just for odor elimination, but for long-term peace of mind and health reasons. I mean...who would want to bathe in, brush teeth and cook with water that has a fart smell??? David came out on a Thursday back in '23 for a follow-up and took the time to inspect everything thoroughly and confirm that the new system- from the pipes to the additional components installed earlier that summer were operating properly. By late August of that year, we saw major progress and the sulfur smell was completely gone. We signed up for a maintenance plan because we want continued oversight to ensure everything stays in excellent condition. The service has been outstanding and the price goes hand in hand with the tremendous work these guys do. David's communication was especially appreciated- he'd keep my husband informed by text with ETA updates, which is exactly the kind of service we value. Til this day, our water is perfect!
