I am excited for any opportunity to partner with them for corporate events, which typically run over multiple days. They do a fantastic job at listening to the chatter in the room to make each meal better for our guest. The service is never short of excellent and the meals always have a taste of "home cooking". They put the "extra special" into every menu item, whether it is a special ingredient or the need to cater to vegans and vegetarians. I have partnered with them on at least three events to date. This last event, I called somewhat desperately because I didn't receive much notice. I didn't look at their menus, I simply provided my vision and let them run with it. Four days of meals and all were different -- breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks over four days! I trusted them explicitly because they have never let me down. Alexis made big promises, but completely failed to deliver. Communication was poor throughout the planning process, and I had to chase her for basic details about our bar package--details she clearly didn't even know. The day of the event, no one was there at our scheduled drop-off time, forcing us to leave décor outside unattended. When we arrived to set up, nothing was where we had agreed during our walkthrough. The champagne wall wasn't up, welcome table was missing, and the bar menus Alexis designed weren't out. Then she lied and claimed those signature drinks suddenly weren't included in our package (despite previously confirming they were in writing) and the bar didn't even have the right ingredients for them. Our event started and guests arrived before setup was complete. The staff put champagne in wine and whiskey glasses (when our contract clearly states we'd get champage glasses), our slideshow wasn't playing, and the "complimentary desserts" we were promised never appeared. AND the WORST part- A sober and pregnant guest was served alcohol when she ordered a Shirley Temple! HOW does that even happen?!? That is beyond negligent and dangerous, there is NO excuse!! Alexis blamed me (the bride) for the confusion and chaos, when I was the only one keeping the day on track and her team clearly dropped the ball. She was nowhere to be found when guests arrived, despite promising she'd be there to greet them and hand out drink our tokens. Bottom line: they're disorganized, dishonest, and unprofessional. Save yourself the stress--do not book your event with them!

My wife and I recently visited Times Up! and we had a really good time…read more Most of the rooms at Times Up! required 4 or more participants, and since it was just the two of us, our only choice was the Room 555 escape room. Overall, I thought the room was a lot of fun. The moderator was nice, and the room had some good puzzles. My only complaints would be: 1) The text-to-speech computer program used to present the story and clues was a little awkward and clunky, and it definitely made it harder to immerse myself in the scenario. It'd be significantly better if a real person was reading the dialogue. Also, it felt like the background story could have been more interesting, although the clues were fun to figure out. 2) One of the clues was meant to be locked and they left it unlocked, so the moderator had to come in during the scenario and re-lock it for us. Not a big deal, but it did disrupt the event a bit. Overall, I liked Times Up! and would definitely come back.

As I forgot to get a photo when I arrived, the class was full so I couldn't get the layout too well. I will try to get a better shot next time. I'd been to the old location before the pandemic and got excited during the pandemic when to go kits were offered as we couldn't paint in person but could order a kit with canvases and paints and brushes. Then pick them up from the sidewalk. Virtual classes are offered as well so you could paint with friends and relatives all over the country if you wanted. Some classes are being taught outside under a gazebo too. I booked my class a few months out as I am still healing from a shoulder injury and thought I'd be good by July. But I managed to get another injury in the meantime. So I did my best and Bethany made the afternoon fun and was very helpful with how to hold the paintbrush to get the paint stroke desired. If you are looking for a fun activity, this is the place for you!
