HERSHEY/HARRIBURG, PA BANANA SPLIT SPOT!…read more Get Yo' Creamie on HERE! With Friendly's disappearing from the Downtown Hershey Scene, where do you go for ice cream these days?!? You figure there'd be something in Chocolate Town USA that would blow your mind, but... surprisingly, not really. To get your creamie cravings satisfied, Thee Spot is 3 B! Located on Derry St. in between downtown Harrisburg and downtown Hershey! Since the early 2000s, once I learned the lay of the land, 3 B has been my favorite, during their open months! Yelp directions are on point, and note, It is not in any strip mall, this spot is a converted humble abode into an Ice Cream Haven! Dedicated parking space and street parking also. Lots of spaced out benches to enjoy your goods in the sun. Staff is patient, friendly & helpful and definitely gives the most generous scoops of any creamery in Chocolate Town! Oh yeah, Let's EAT! BANANA SPLIT: Biggest size Split in the region! Its Ice Cream Tray is big, scoops are big, toppings are generous... that's the way it was back in early 2000s and it still holds true today, 2026!!! Total bang for your buck. Their ice cream sources these days are local vendors Gallagher's & Lieby's. My scoops for today's Split was CHOCOLATE ALMOND, MooseTracks, and STRAWBERRY! Each one chunky with additives, flavors were delightful, and toppings were generous! As always, I Loved it! Still as good as 20 years ago! VERY EASY RECOMMENDATION! During their open months, 3 B is truly the best spot for ice cream in Chocolate Town & PA's Capital! Enjoy!

So delicious and convenient! This small family run place, was perfectly situated within blocks of…read morethe Amtrak train station where we were dropping off our daughter. We stopped in for a bite before sending her off and it was fantastic. She ordered a vegetarian crepe, my husband had a salmon crepe, and I had the Brie, tomato, and egg. We also had two pots of French-pressed coffee so rich and flavorful, it was a great pick me up! My husband had the chai latte and thoroughly enjoyed it as well. We liked everything so much we added an order or the Nutella and strawberries crepe to share, and it was so delicious we laughed we should've each gotten one. The prices were very reasonable and the service was excellent. I jokingly told the owner he should charge for the smells as well!!!

Not necessarily. It's a crepe restaurant but the man behind the counter told me he could make me a latte or an americano. I opted for the later, but while I'm waiting I could smell those thin and fluffy crepes being made so I decided to give a try. I'm simple: a crepe with Nutella. I get my americano, then my crepe to go and eat it on the way to the depot. Mmm. Light, fluffy yet hardy enough to hold the melting Nutella. Turns out caffeine and a crepe to go is a great combination in the morning.

Frederic Loraschi is insanely talented!! I went for the first time this week to get chocolates for…read morea coworker's birthday, and was amazed at their flavor! (I tried a mango one myself which was beautifully painted and bursting with flavor; my husband loved his peruvian dark chocolate one). When I stopped by, the owner graciously walked me through the store, explaining the different chocolate options (they also have ice cream and macaroons). The interior was immaculate and they actively make chocolate in the back! He also mentioned on Saturday mornings (just the one day of the week) he bakes fresh pastries -- so of course I had to come back. Let me tell you, THE PASTRIES ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! Don't be deceived by the name -- Frederic Loraschi doesn't just do chocolate (although those are incredible) -- the butter croissant was the best croissant I've ever had, period. Truly impressive for Harrisburg!!! You'd think you stepped into a bakery in France. I also loved the little tomato pie with herbs -- the goat cheese flavor was also perfect. I would highly highly recommend these! They sell out quick (we went around 9-9:30am and almost all of the croissants had gone -- the chocolate and ham/cheese croissants already were sold out, as were many of the other pastries in the case). The first butter croissant we tried was so amazing that we turned around and went and bought 3 more. What a truly amazing gem!

Incredibly Delicious!…read more This review is for their food truck, which recently visited our development on a Sunday morning. First, I thought it was a great idea to have a food truck on a weekend morning, because you can tap into a different group of patrons than on a Friday night. Service was spot on with each type of croissant and food item was explained (with pride) to me while trying to choose. On this visit we sampled the ham and cheese croissant, the apple croissant, and the savory bread pudding. Everything was delicious! The croissants were some of the best ones my wife and I have eaten. So much so we contemplated walking back to the truck for seconds. If you see their food truck stop and you will not be disappointed! We are looking forward to visiting the shop and trying some of their specialty chocolates!
