Needless to say we were attached to him…read more He was struggling to breathe, had difficulty standing to go to the bathroom, to find his water, etc. We had water in every corner of the house for him since he had difficulty walking. We brought him water when he was lying down. He was miserable. We called Riverside Animal Hospital told them his condition and they saw us that morning. We were not regular customers. We had just moved to Macon. Our daughter had taken her dogs there. So we were sure they were good doctors and chose them. They were compassionate, kind, gentle with Bruiser and discussed everything before we proceeded. They examined Bruiser and came to the same conclusion we had. When they handled him they were very gentle with him. After he passed they prepared him for burial. We wanted to take him and bury him next to his sister. Who we had lost a year before. She had died lying in the bed with us. Bruiser missed her. As did we. If you are in search of compassionate, knowledgeable, professional veterinarians choose Riverside Animal Hospital. We would highly recommend them. The facility is clean and the vets are top notch.
