Drove 2 hours but it was well worth it. Brought my girl Doberman here for her ear cropping. They did an amazing job. Wait wasn't long even though they don't take appointments just walk ins only. The staff here were all friendly and helpful with knowledge of the ear cropping process and aftercare. Her ears look amazing and the price was unbeatable. Really wish I lived closer so they could be my permitted vet. This place will definitely be recommended to all my friends with dobies from now on. read more

If you are a 1st time yelp reviewer, and you can only give this amazing clinic a 1 star review because you--as a pet owner allowed a procedure to be performed on your dog that you didn't agree with, then you failed to fufill your own pet loving responsibilites by way of ignorance, failure, and most of all irresponsibility. As a pet owner, we always have every detail from ant vet we ever went to. I am going here for the first time tomorrow and am rating them 5 stars ahead of time for CUSTOMER SERVICE. Yelp needs to moderate better because 1 star review?...? Really? Even though you think they are great for non-emergencies? Not cool. This is the best veterinarian in the area. You have to get here early to get in line though because everyone wants to use them. I got here at 7:30am & there was an hour wait. My Mom has been coming here for as long as I can remember & now I know why, lol. Absolute best veterinary experience I've ever had. Staff is great and the doctor is very upfront and will not con you into doing anything extra or unnecessary. The prices are unbeatable, my boyfriend and I drive 2 hours away for any minor or major issues with our pups. This is a walk in only clinic so you may spend a good percentage of the day here but the wait is well worth it, and you will meet some great people from all over. read more

Well worth the wait and the drive. We Adopted a dog last year and needed to get her Spayed, Rabies, and vaccinations. Gordon animal took care of it all same day, as well as a heartworm test and medication. All super affordable. I bring all of my fur babies here. The staff is attentive, and very nice. There is also a big yard you can walk your dog around while you wait. Make sure to get there early because it is first come first serve. It is cash only in the main vet office, but you can pay by card across the lot at their supply store. read more

If your looking for something cheap this is your place but just beware the quality of the staff matches the prices. Low cost=low care. I dropped 2 cats and a dog off to get fixed. The desk ladies seemed too under staffed. They had a straight face and didn't really seem to care to talk they seemed stressed. Like they couldn't take a moment or things. I wrote down as well as the desk lady writing down the pets markings and names but when I got them back their names were assigned wrong to each pet. Not a big deal but now idk witch cat has an allergy issue. When the guy came to take my dog inside we asked him to just tell our dog good boy when he goes inside cuz our dog has extreme attachment issues and he just nodded his head like okay whatever. then I ask them to cut my dogs nails and when my dog gets in the car I see blood covering my backseat,front seat, a puddle of blood on my center console. I ask the guy for a napkin and he looks at me weird? So not only did they cut it short but they failed to notice him bleeding everywhere. I get my animals home and notice my cat smells like mildew like his been sitting in something wet the whole time. I don't think they have enough cages for the animals either cuz they took my cat carrier with them and never brought it back to me. Also my dog and my cats the first thing they did when getting home was drink and eat all the food they could get witch makes me think my animals weren't fed right..they stayed 4 days due to it being the weekend and idk my dog looks smaller I swear even my husband said it also before I even said something to him.... I just idk. I'm not the type to complain but it knits seems like one thing after another. Prices are good and the vet may be great but the staffing SUCKS big time. read more

I really like this vet, staff, services & prices. I would like to say however Covid19 has changed everything from what we used to know things as being. I would like to suggest maybe doing like MD offcs do now, make appts for our fur animals since we have to wait outside now. U can't expect an animal not to have to use the bathroom while waiting to be seen 1st come. My animals got Parvo from their visit to get their shots. A pup died in my arms yesterday & I feel this could've been prevented if you started seeing animals by appt now. read more

My family has been using this veterinarian for decades. My fiancée had tried to use a different veterinarian & he had seen her puppy twice & charged her $100.00 each time & made it clear that he would attempt to charge $100.00 every two weeks until her teacup chihuahua reached 5 lbs. at which time he would provide the 1st shots & enough deformed to actually kill the worms. Her puppy is currently is 6 weeks old & weighs 1.5 lbs. She was prepared to do what he recommended, however, I felt he was only taking advantage of her because she was willing to do whatever she felt was necessary because she loves her puppy. I convinced her to try Gordon Animal Hospital & she was amazed. It was a very long wait because this place is very popular, however, they knew exactly what to do & they only charged $25.50 & they gave him his 1st shots & gave him the proper amount of deformed. We can already see an improvement in his health. They are the BEST veterinarian in the state of Georgia. read more

I recently got a sick bearded dragon froma man that wasn't caring for it properly. I was calling all around the clinics in the surrounding counties to see if anyone would look at reptiles and not cost an arm and a leg. I never thought to look a few minutes down the road. Not only is the look over free, but their prices are outrageously low compared to everywhere else. The wait is a little lengthy, but thats usually due to how packed the clinic is. My beardie was looked at very thoroughly and I was given great instructions for at home care. After following these instructions, she's doing amazing. Will definitely be using Dr. Dennard's for all of my vet needs. read more

Extremely good care for my animals. I'd go there for any surgery that would need performing. My tom cat got an abscess that had hardened and could not just be drained. They performed the surgery for $40 and he is right as rain. I've gone to a "fancier", MUCH more costly vet and they could hardly bring themselves to treat my ailing cat (she seems to be wasting away) and dog (just want her teeth cleaned!) at all. It was as if they were okay to look over my animals, administer regular shots and take a LOT of money but reluctant with anything else. We've been using Gordon animal clinic for abt 3 years now and they are wonderful people. They give good care without practically bankrupting you like the ones I've used before. Same good care only understanding and reasonable to the needs of people who love their pets but don't have a small fortune to get them taken care of. (I hope everyone can appreciate how important that is). I live in Dublin so being 45 min away isn't a problem for me because I know we won't be turned away with a dying pet as we have been before. That's not an animal hospital in my book, no matter.They didn't approve of the review they got from a visit before so we were put on the do not receive list and didn't know it. I have a beloved pet buried there at the clinic. The staff sent an endearing card with their sympathies which was very welcomed and appreciated. His death was unexpected that day and they were very consoling. You just don't forget things like that. All experiences I'm sure aren't or may not be good or the best every time but we are only human and these people are some of the best with their four legged clientele! i cant tell you how amazing these people are best prices by far im actually moving out of state soon but every year i will be taking them to this vet i will not go anywhere else ive been with them for almost 6 years taking both my dogs there and best prices by far best service some are iffy when it comes to surgery i had an eye surgery done on my baby girls eye when i rescued her and she has never had an issue i paid $60 with antibiotics and got quoted from other vets $1000 and up not including antibiotics now mind you it is a wait and if your not planning to drive or wait a good while go there on your day off best decision was choosing this vet read more

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES LET THIS BUTCHER CROP YOUR DOGS EARS!!! Debates about cropping being cruel aside, he knocks the dog out, uses scissors to "crop" (HACK) the ears, and send them home. No bloodwork, no consult to determine if your dog is a good candidate, and they didn't even require any vaccination records!! So you can take in a rabid dog and they obviously don't care. That's top notch vetting right there. My dog was covered in blood, they didn't even clean him up after the procedure. No pain meds, no antibiotics. The ears are not secured up properly. My dogs ears were completely taped from base to tip... all the incisions were taped over! So when it came time to take the tape off, the tape was ripping the stitches and open wounds, and the hair b/c they don't even bother shaving the ears. Cropping does not have to be a painful, horrible experience. But you better believe it will be if you use this **"VET"** (term used VERY loosely here). YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Maybe they're good for shots & routine problems... maybe some of you have gotten lucky & not had serious issues YET... but I have seen first hand their blatant disregard for my dogs well being. And now another $100 to a better vet for antibiotics and follow up on his horribly nasty, dirty ears. And couple hundred bucks for another procedure to have his hack job fixed so the pups ears will stand. Apparently vets all over GA are familiar with this "vet", and not in a positive way. It's obvious to me that the people singing his praises on these reviews either 1) work for him & are creating fluff pieces for his reputation 2) have never had any experience with a GOOD vet so have no true comparison or 3) are satisfied with this guy because he's one of the cheapest around. I'm glad people claim to have had such fabulous experiences here, because it would break my heart to know he is always as sloppy & incompetent as he was with my pup. He's one of only a few local vets that crops ears, & is definitely the cheapest, but believe me, spend that extra money and go to a GOOD vet that will take care of your animal! Bargain shop for groceries, not a vet to take care of your fur babies!! Try to save a few bucks with this place, and you'll end up spending much more in the long run. I'm just thankful that other vets are willing to help make right a hack job that this one did. Lesson learned. Don't ever use a vet that is not cabable of running a debit card in their office!!!
