When we would bring up concerns or ask questions he would flip out and say immature things instead of helping us solve the problem. He also promised us clear financial statements, delivered on time and we continuously had to bug him for them and trust me, they are NOT clear. My husband and I spent hour going through them and found a few discrepancies so we got a lawyer. The lawyer advised us that even though we were being screwed over, the best (i.e. least expensive) way to get out of it was to just fire him. As soon as I had the chance, that's exactly what we did.

we have a slumlord in niagara falls on he owns stamford realty his name is joe dipietro…read more ever since i moved into the unit, we have had issues with cockroaches and now we have issues with mice. after unsuccessfully trying to get the landlord to address the cockroaches, i spoke to property standards officer dave evans on nov 2 and the landlord was ordered to eradicate the cockroaches. however the landlord refused to do so stating that it was my fault that we had the cockroaches as i was doing a seasonal christmas job at goodwill as a cashier. most recently i noticed a mouse in my kitchen, and once again the landlord refused to do anything about it. pay my rent on time, my place is clean this is not my fault. i'd really appreciate having the issues dealt with. as a person on odsp, my pt seasonal job at goodwill is all i can do. apparently the landlord has issues with people working at goodwill. would this landlord rather me sit on my butt and do nothing? something needs to be done. we pay$975 a month in rent and we are forced to live with mice and cockroaches this is not right fed up tenant

I was charged $30 and had to wait 30 days to receive the minutes. When the minutes arrived there was no mention of a fence or cost. Two weeks ago I notified Lauren Bowman, our Shabr representative, about damage to the front lawn of our townhouse. The damage was caused by a crew that was installing new wiring for TV reception. I included a photograph of the damage caused by a heavy piece of equipment. The result: Nada. The Better Business Bureau (BBB) rates Property Management Companies using the following scale: A+ A A- B+ B B- C+ C C-. I tracked 10 companies in our region. 7 of them received an A+ rating, 1 an A rating and 2 a C+ rating. Shabri was rated C+. ACMO (Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario) represents Condominium managers. ACMO's mission is to advance the quality and performance of condominium managers and management companies and the services that they provide.There are over 50 active condominium management firms that are members. Shabri is not a member. When I asked James North why Shabri was not a member he said that ACMO was no longer relevant. Conclusion: Shabri is NOT a viable choice for Condominium Management.
