He's pretty wobbly but we've been so lucky to find wonderful groomers. Due to Covid restrictions, she met me just outside the front door at my appointment time. We talked for a few minutes while she checked out my little guy. Then she scooped him up and said ok, he'll be ready in two hours. She texted a little while later to confirm the price and the time to pick him up. When I got there, he looked gorgeous and smelled delicious!! He was a little tired from the experience but so alert. I can tell that he feels like a million bucks since his haircut. I absolutely love that the grooming is by appointment, he's there by himself and cared for from start to finish by the owner.

Since it was my first time going, the owner Phyllis gave me the rundown: there are three self serve tubs with different shampoos and condtioners. The tubs are raised and have a hose, which is nice, so you can easily stand while you give your dog a bath. Pet Paws is $15-per-dog, the price isn't contingent on time- a good deal for bigger dogs, maybe not as much for smaller ones. They also have a dryer station with different brushes for after the wash. What I like about Pet Paws is the convenience- its nice to be able to wash your dog and not have to deal with the "clean up" afterward- cleaning up the tub and washing the towels- all that jazz. While both of my dogs needed booster vaccinations, I did not think that the cost would be such a big deal since both of my dogs were medically "up to date" in the Spring. When I picked up my two dogs, my bill for 2 days for 2 dogs + boosters was $1,500. That's right, $1,500. Shame on everyone who works at this place and takes advantage of desperate people.
