Unless you have a reason to be here, you can skip this mall. Quality/Quantity - Retail, restaurant, and office businesses. Wife came here to support the local businesses. My daughter came here to get another acai bowl. I guess I came here to pay and carry everything. We shopped at Tutu pantry to find our locally made products. Atmosphere - Small local mall. Most businesses open from 9am to 9pm. See individual businesses for specific days and hours. Approximately 4 places to eat - Cafe O'Lei, Beach Street, Maui Thai Bistro, and Southshore Grindz Eatery. Bathrooms are on the second floor, you need a code. Service - Good, depends on the business. Price - Depends on business. Owner Comment - No comment. read more

Nice little shopping center in the heart of South Kihei. Came here for breakfast a couple times at the shaved ice stand. Their matcha latte and chia seed fruit parfait cups were good. Ended up shopping around in the area for gifts and clothes and left pretty pleased. Got to book our zipline tour with Auntie Snorkel Beach Rentals and Activities. read more

Rainbow Mall is a small, older, two level outdoor strip mall with a mix of local shops, businesses and restaurants. Parking is free and adequate. HIGHLIGHTS: - Da Kitchen Express - Cafe O'Lei OVERALL: Far from a shopper's paradise. read more

I enjoy the restaurants here...but the flags need to be addressed immediately. I recommend Cafe O Lei and the Maui Thai Bistro - always great food and great service, and I highly recommend the Coconuts cafe here over the one in Azekas. Always have a great experience! read more

Plenty of good restaurants and nice little tourist shops. Very walkable outdoor mall with lots of hawaiian clothing, tshirts, souvenirs etc. If you're in the area just feel free to explore. read more

Rainbow Mall is alive and well!!! My main challenge is trying to spread my money around because they are all small businesses. Maui Espresso & Shaved Ice is right in the front so it is easy to stop and take a load off and enjoy a shaved ice...I only wish they had lychee. Da Kitchen is also located here - known for their plate lunches that takes two days to eat. Each boutique has its own unique selection of clothing and some overlap. I always manage to find something to buy. Prices are totally fashionable and affordable. It's so competitive these days, you can bargain with the sales people if you are getting a few items. It is in the same area as Whaler's (some of their items are sometimes cheaper than ABC - it just depends what it is), Denny's and Lappert's Ice Cream (those are my landmarks). There are also more small to medium sized stores that I like to windowshop. By the time you get this far down - it seems there are not as many tourists. Fine by me...then I can browse all I want and not feel like I'm bumping into people. read more

Stop by here if you're hitting the beach nearby for a nice cool down. Really awesome shaved ice in a billion flavors. I high recommend getting that coconut syrup on top. I'm sure it's sugary and super bad for you, but it's so delish! read more

Fun place at Downtown Disney. Burgers aren't the best you've ever had, but are well above average. The milk shakes may be one of the best you had, or at least the biggest and most original. Salads are very good. Drinks and beer are plentiful. Always crowded, always fun and always good. read more

The center name was a little misleading compare to where I am from in California. Most of the places in California shopping malls, to my understanding is stores like forever 21, H&M , American Eagle. This is the best shave ice on the island and believe me we tried several different places. The syrups are not artificial tasting and they load them on. Lines can be long but worth the wait. There are 3 little tables along the side besides the ones out front that most people don't see. So check that out if you don't see enough seating. Make sure you get yours with ice cream!!! Great efficient strip mall for power shopping grabbing goods you forgot and things you want to take back for friends without getting gouged. Maui Ohana store has an amazing $6 clothing bin out front -- found some great souvenir clothing items including Ts and sweatshirts (usually $50). The store has a ton of reasonably priced Hawaii stuff. We picked up 6 bracelets for $5 to bring back for teens. Henna Tattoos -- great custom work. Get a refresh of your artwork the day you leave for half price. Whaler's supply. A little bit of everything at a good price. Alternative to ABC, and had the best variegated faux straw Jandals we saw on the island for just $8, snorkeling fins for $25. read more

alls i gots to say is: ahhhhhhhhhhh. when it's hot as crap out in the maui sun, your skin is tingling from the salt water and turning lobster red rapidly, and the afternoon winds just blow more hot air in your face, nothing cures all of the heat like a a neon shaved ice as big as your head. You have the local favorite da kitchen, A Thai restaurant and Cafe if you want to get a little fancy without breaking the bank. You can pick up a trendy shirt and I enjoy brining my daughter to get her henna tattoos too! It's a nice and casual spot. read more

Good place to grab shave ice, ice cream or a bite to eat before hopping on the bus. We needed to get back to the airport to pick up a car because there were none available on the night of our arrival and we didn't want to pay for a shuttle or cab. This place is conveniently right at the bus stop and walking distance from the WorldMark Resorts. Ample parking too if driving. read more
