It takes a lot for me to write a review, and my experience with Rainbow Florist in Santa Clarita is one of those times that requires sharing the phenomenal customer service I received. Let me start with the fact that I always use a local florist as it is important to keep my business local. I had a minor mishap with my delivery. In Regards to the arrangement it was beautiful. I took in pictures of what I was looking for. I provided peacock feathers to add to the arrangement. I was happy about the look. Very exotic and classy look. I was satisfied with appearance of arrangement and freshness of flowers. In regards to customer service, they are sweet. They loaded arrangement into car (I am disabled) and had a box to help transport Home and travel to end location of party. They worked with me on replicating other arrangements I found online to achieve the right look. The price of the arrangement was a bit steep for the flowers. This was a pickup so no delivery fee. I asked for the 2 blue roses to be added at pickup but the arrangement was $70 for 2 stock, 3 something else, 3 blue bell stem. 3 carnation colored, hydrangea, small mum like green stem flower bunch and vase with marbles. I provided all the peacock feathers. It just felt a little expensive for the arrangement with the flower types in arrangement. I would have done 5 Stars otherwise. Would I use again. I don't know, I might shop around more next time as there is a vons and other flower shop I could use. I never complained about price to shop at all. When 3 orchid branches that were to be added could not be provided I know this is an expensive flower and asked about price. Price dropped from $80 to the $70 I paid. read more

I called in to ask if they had the flowers available for the arrangement I had seen online and the lady on the phone who was really nice said they were; she even asked which arrangement I was looking online and she said they could totally make the arrangement. The total price was around $62 with the delivery fee included of $10. Note on the first picture I did select the small option but even so it looks nothing to what was expected. I was sending flowers as a gift for my aunt who lives in Barstow, I was very limited on the options on where to order given that there is only 2 flower shops in town. I called and asked the owner about the plain arrangement for such a high cost and she said she was lower than her competitor. I thought she would offer to make the arrangement again but she told me she had been in business since 1984 and I don't have to shop there if I don't want to and she said goodbye. Rainbow Florist - Flower arrangement for Valentine's Day 2019 - Florists Near Me - Barstow, California

It's sad that Barstow only has 1-2 Florist shops in town. Rainbow Florist dropped the ball for this years Mother's Day. I ordered on Friday, May 7, 2021 and paid for Delivery, I ordered early to ensure that I get my Mom a good Flower Arrangement, I also ordered Chocolate and a Balloon. I was assured the flowers, chocolate and Balloon would be delivered on Saturday, May 8th. I ordered early, so my Mom would get a beautiful flower arrangement that she deserves. I spoke with my Mom on Saturday afternoon and she had not yet received any delivery from Rainbow Florist; I immediately called Rainbow Florist and spoke with one of the Ladies, who could not find my order (Which I had already paid for). She finally found my order and said, "Oh, it's on the Truck now" this was around 4:45 PM on Saturday. Today, Sunday, Mother's Day, My Mom still hadn't received her flowers, so I called Rainbow Florist again, they again could not find my order. I explained again, that I had made the order on Friday and called on Saturday and was told the Flowers were "on the Truck" being delivered but My Mom never received any Flowers, chocolate or balloon. The Lady on the phone told me the Flowers were delivered yesterday (Saturday) late between 4pm - 6pm. I told her that my Mom never received the Flowers and advised her, we have a ring doorbell camera and cameras at the house, we can check the cameras. She then changed her story and said, let me check with our delivery driver. She spoke with her delivery driver, then told me the flowers were not delivered on Saturday (yesterday), because they had a problem locating the address. She said, they can be delivered today. I told her to cancel the order and refund my money, because they dropped the ball. She told me my money would be credited back to the credit card, I paid with. I did not want my Mom to receive anything less than the Flower arrangements that I choose for her, especially any "Sloppy Seconds" type of cheap flowers. I paid $111 for my Mom's order and I wanted her to get $111 worth of Flowers, Chocolate and Balloon. I will never use Rainbow Florist again. Very Disappointed Joe P. read more

Continuation of complaint posted below. After I finished writing this review I received an email from my friend who received the flowers described below and it read ........ That lady just called me and said that I was very unhappy and disappointed with the flowers?? I told Her I just had two sisters die. Why in the world would I say such a thing? I told her she got the wrong number I told her I thanked you for carrying for us and that was a wonderful thought and if the sender is unhappy then she should have called you to apologize not a grieving recipient wtf is wrong with that bitch? Wow she was stupid as hell acting! I told her if you thought you didn't get what you ordered she should be refunding you why is she calling me? I'm not ungrateful for someones wonderful gesture! She said oh well sorry to bother you. Really !!! Wow. REALLY?????????? SHE CALLED MY FRIEND TO ASK IF SHE LIKED THEM AND TOLD HER THAT I WAS UNHAPPY WITH THEM. WTF!!!!! EXCUSE MY LANGUAGE BUT REALLY CAN ANYONE SAY THIS HAS EVER HAPPENED TO THEM. AGAIN I CAN NOT BELIEVE WHAT IS GOING ON HERE. A very good friend of mine has suffered the loss of not one but two family members within 3 days of each other. Needless to say this is an awful time in her life. I wanted to send her some flowers to bring a little beauty into her life in such a dark time. I choose the "Arrive in Style" bouquet shown on their website. I opted for the larger deluxe version. When I called and placed the order I spoke to Lola. She viewed the arrangement on line and told me they did not have the pink roses shown in the picture. I asked if they had lavender roses as I felt this would be a good alternative. She told me they did. I then asked if they were in good shape because I know that lavender roses can sometime look welted. She assure me that they were fresh and not welted. I also explained to her that I wanted a completely WHITE bouquet with just the roses being colored. She specifically stated that they had all the flowers necessary outside of the pink roses. I paid a little over $60.00 for this bouquet. When it arrived it WAS NOT WHAT I ASKED FOR. The "white" flowers are yellow and not white. The bouquet had more green then white. There were 2 asiatic lilies not the 5 shown. Furthermore the actually flowers look very welted. When I called the florist today I spoke to a Bonnie. Who first said they was no manager on site, after telling her my issue she then said she was the manager. I explained that I was VERY unhappy with the arrangement. She was extremely argumentative, telling me that is what I ordered. She did admit they didn't have some of the white flowers, so they substituted with yellow. She told me that when she delivered it the recipient was very happy. WOW !!! That was her answer!! Of course my friend was happy she has no idea what she was suppose to receive. I told her that if she couldn't make this right I was going to give her bad reviews on line. She told me I have a horrible attitude and that I can not post a picture of the flowers on line as IT IS NOT the same as what the on line picture looks like. EXACTLY the point I was trying to make. She said since I opted for lavender roses I changed the bouquet, I explained that change was made due to her lack of product. I then asked for the owners name which she refused to give me. She told me to call back Monday and click... she hung up. I AM DISGUSTED!!!!! I would have given them a zero if I could. Please DO NOT waste your time and money using this florist. They have ZERO customer service and no sense of what is takes to make the public happy. I have tried to attach a picture to show everyone the comparison but unfortunately this site will not allow me. One last thing, it was delivered one day after it was suppose to. TOP NOTCH SERVICE??? I think NOT!!!
