Very cool new antique/vintage store with some unique items. Bought a cool hook rack to hang on the wall.

The boutique is quite large and everything is well organized in small sections with plenty of room to walk down the main aisle and around each area. The minute I walked in my eye caught a burnt orange scarf a mannequin was wearing. Immediately I took the scarf off the mannequin knowing it was actually a lace tablecloth, perfect for the fall and Thanksgiving. For $15, I didn't even have to think about it! So many wonderful items, something for anyone's style and budget. Old leather objects and jackets; vintage phone from the 30s; tea cups & saucers; wooden trunks refinished and could be used for end or coffee tables; vases, serving pieces, estate jewelry, fashion jewelry, art, small pieces of furniture, barware, glassware, and vintage material & clothing. Fell in love with a pair of off-white boots with flowers embroidered up to the knee. They were stunning! If only they fit! A one of a kind statement piece. Hanging on a wall was a macrame owl. Quirky, homemade, vintage - I had to have it! That's what is so fantastic about these type of stores. Hundreds of people probably walked by that owl without a pause and yet it stopped me in my tracks! In addition to standard art like canvas and pictures, I like to adorn my walls with different expressions of unique art. This owl will definitely do that. And for $12, no risk. The owner is clearly passionate about her business, as excited as I was for my "finds!l She was chatting with several customers that obviously stop in often and just as easily made conversation with tourists visiting from out of state. She packaged my items in a bag with orange tissue and a bow, definitely a boutique touch. First time here but I will be back, for sure. On Nov 6th, 2021, they are celebrating their 8 year anniversary with 20% off and mimosas all day. See you there!

I'm from California, so I'm still not fully used to the way food is served everywhere you go in Oregon. I was thinking, 'Espresso, ice cream, and antiques? That's different.' Is the musky smell of antiques compatible with food service? Not sure how I feel about this, but I ordered a huckleberry soda, anyway. I was curious. It turned out to be one of the best flavored sodas I've ever had. I loved the huckleberry syrup. The antique selection was well-curated. Lots of interesting trinkets and jewelry. Everything you'd expect from an antique shop, plus a gentleman's room full of old Playboys tucked into the back. Service was friendly, and there was plenty of parking. There was no wait. This is a great alternative to stopping by one of the big busy farms if you're just looking for a quick drink, or (obviously) if you're into antiques.

The best deal - if you buy a vase, you are invited to fill it with fresh flowers you pick from the back garden. What? It's totally worth buying a vase just to get the gorgeous bouquet of dahlia, zinnia, cosmos, and more! The biggest surprise is that you can also get some delicious ice cream! It's perfect on a summer day as you are wandering the Hood River Fruit Loop or any season. The ice cream is soft serve, which is my fave. They have a shaded area next to the shop where you can sit and enjoy your treat. Check their website because in the off-season, they are typically open Fridays-Sundays only. It's a fun 6 as with most antique shops, you never know what treasure you'll find. And looking is just as much fun!

Yes, they do! One person's oddity is another's treasure. The first floor has shelves loaded with dishes, glass wear and serving pieces. All arranged by color or designer or function. Clearly they care about how items are presented and it makes it so much easier for the customer. For example, there was an entire shelf filled with depression era green glass dishes and serving pieces. No need to hunt, it's right there for the taking. On this floor there are also lots of books, dvds and albums. Vintage clothing, some beau winter coats and jackets amongst the collection. If you, your man or child wants cowboy boots, there are dozens and dozens in every size! Wow! An amazing collection. A wall of wooden masks, beads you can scoop for $5 a bag, statues, knives, tools, paintings, toys, the list goes on and on! Downstairs is where they have the majority of furniture from near and far. Some truly beautiful carved wooden pieces and doors, just waiting for the right customer. Those working there were busy arranging items but always greeted me and offered help. There are several sections that you can tell are collections by individual sellers. Unlike some of the reviewers, I did not see the Nazi memorabilia and I'm glad I didn't. While we need to learn and understand history so we don't repeat it, I fear that some may collect this crap for the wrong reasons. Hopefully it was removed based on the feedback from those reviewers. If I had seen it, I would have gone straight to the owner or workers with my concerns since not all owners read Yelp reviews. Located right across the bridge from Hood River, there are plenty of parking spots out front. It's a fun place to stop, I needed an hour as there is so much to see that time goes fast.

Sandra, the owner and artist, is super friendly and engaging. Her studio where she does mosaics and also teaches classes is to the left. The rest of the space is dedicated to vintage clothing and lots of tchotchke! Most items totally unique, the kind that 99% of the people would say, "who would ant this?" While one person sequels with delight and says, " I have to have this!" An obvious love of Japanese fabrics and memorablia, there was a large selection of Japanese Kimonos. The blue and white one caught my attention immediately but it was surprisingly long and several inches would drag on the floor if I bought it. As part of a charity event for breast cancer, Sandra designed two bras that are hanging on the wall and had me laughing out loud. One adorned with Lipton tea bags that say "Your small cup can make a big difference." And a bra with cups resembling a monkey with bananas dangling from the band. What a hoot! A collection of Manley Men featuring troubadours and Elvis, piggy banks, mismatched dishes, glasses and serving pieces, art, Asian figurines, and clothing fills the space. No purchases for me this visit but I will definitely stop in again next time I'm driving through! Monkeyshine just celebrated their 10th anniversary and I wish them many more!
