We made many changes and his guys were never flustered by it, but actually liked the chance to bring their creativity to the job They came up with some wonderful custom modifications that added the "next level" feel. And, changes were mostly included in the price. The few that were not, were reasonably priced. He also remodeled the master bath and did a very creative install of multi section mirror/cabinet on a wall with a pocket door. And the floors, AMAZING FLOORS! The repaired, sanded and beautifully restained the entire white oak first floor. I was there when his team was working and they had great care and passion for their work and it shows. First - reading the review prior to mine - I couldn't be more shocked. Our remodel was just finishing up as their project was starting and I strongly believe some of what is said below is wildly fabricated. Josh was nothing short of a consummate professional on our job. Did everything go perfect? No - does it ever on a major home renovation project? But Josh made sure every single issue was taken care of. Including when an electrician royally screwed up our wiring. Josh lost a lot of time and money having it redone and didn't even try to up-charge me for the difference despite the lost time, materials and re-do of the job by a new electrician. Even months after the job was done - he has come back to fix minor issues that pop up (grout fixes, etc) and has never charged us one extra penny. I have recommended Hastings to several friends and neighbors - including a friend who has them doing a full second story addition on their house right now and is very happy and our neighbor who runs a major house flipping company (tv show) and he has hired them on to help him as well.
