Edwin is great. He's a solid mechanic, fair, honest, and professional. I found myself in a bad…read moresituation with my 2006 Civic. What I thought was a blown head gasket, turned out to be a cracked block. After inspecting it, Edwin told me to check with Honda because he knew that there was an issue with the blocks on my car and thought that the warranty may have been extended. He was right, but unfortunately for me, they only extended it ten years, and I was at twelve. Rather than keep fighting it out with Honda, because I need my car, and frankly because I love my car, I decided just to have Edwin do a full engine swap. Now I knew the job was going to be expensive, and I expected it to take some time. However, while it still was expensive, Edwin knocked out the job in a single weekend. Way better than I could have ever hoped. The price was fair, especially for the work that needed to be done, so I'm not complaining about that either. Edwin also took the time to really make sure everything was right with my car. He noticed that the AC compressor on the engine I got for the swap had a leak, so he used my compressor which was still good. This is what really made me happy because it means he took pride in the work he was doing to make sure that he went over everything, while at the same time not charging me for a new part that I didn't really need. I've had Edwin do work on my car before, and I've always been happy with his service. This was the first time that I ever had to have something this big done, and I'm extremely satisfied. I have my car back, it's running great, and I got it faster than I expected. Edwin is still invested in my car, and gave me a couple things to look out for. Like any good doctor, he wants a follow up call to, which I will make sure to give. If you need anything done, dont hesitate to see Edwin, he's a stand up guy, and a hell of a mechanic. I can't forget Tasha either. She was always friendly and helpful. It was nice to hear from her throughout the process. Thank you both!
