In the back, a couple of coolers with sodas and drinks. It's not inexpensive but it's still cheaper than the gift shops inside of Windsor Castle.

Nice cards and wrapping paper- but personally i like oxfams collection better (just a 2 min walk up towards the hight street), and at least then you know your money is going to a good cause when the card itself inevitably ends up in the bin

The stadium's not as impressive but you can get right up against the track to watch the racing as well as higher in the stands to get a better view. The new seafood restuarant is great and does offer special deals (inc. entry, drink and food) - it's not cheap but it is a great night out. You can also arrive by river boat which feels very glamorous!

On my way in, I noticed a soda sitting on a gorgeous desk/secretary so I picked it up thinking some rude customer had deposited it there. When I took it to the owner, he declared that I had ruined his drink by handling it near the lid. Not sure which was more surprising, his reaction or the discovery that he had left a cold beverage to condense on a wooden "antique". Regardless, I left immediately so as to not inconvenience him further.

Laura Jacks is a lovely gift and card shop in Egham, which suffers a bit from its location. As it's…read moreslightly out of the way of the main High Street it would be easy to miss, which would be a shame. It stocks unusual cards, gifts, jewellery, handbags, paintings, candles and so much more. It's a great place to find something unusual and is particularly good for gifts for new babies. There are so many beautiful things here I often end up wanting one of everything. Some of the stock is reasonably expensive, but there really is something for everyone. Plus if you're buying something as a gift they will gift wrap it for you too free of charge. A real treasure!

The staff are wonderful, lovely and friendly and so helpful. Makes me wish I had a little girl as a lot of the items are quite girly hmm but then I would be spending a fortune in there so maybe it's best I have boys! lol. That said there is something for everyone.
