A manager asked if we've been waited on and we told him no. He went to kitchen and not heard from again. I told my wife in 5 mins we can go. Then our girl Lexi showed up and asked us the same question if we've been waited on and we said no. She took the initiative and waited on us and it wasn't even her table. She never skipped a beat. My wife and I watched her and she was keeping up with her customers and doing a kick ass job. I told my wife that Lexi probably runs the place and come to find out she's new. It didn't show, she did a great job, wrote down exactly what we wanted on her notepad and my wife and I couldn't have been more pleased. Anytime we go to that Cracker Barrel, we want Lexi as our waitress. She did make my wife and I laugh today when she accidently refilled my glass of Sprite with water. The glass was sitting next to my water. It was an honest mistake but we loved her. Great job Lexi, Cathi and I will be back to see you. Hope you liked the Sprite tumbler we got you. It was described as a fresh greens salad. This salad did come with a nice side of salmon to place on top of it, but this salad is absolutely ridiculous!! It consisted of huge chunks and strips of iceberg lettuce. Most pieces were much too larger to eat, and there were 2 huge pieces of lettuce core. In addition, there were 3 pieces of poorly cut cucumber, a few tomatoes, and an egg that wasn't even cut but looked ripped in half. It should have come with croutons- and there were none. I double checked my order, and I did not ask to remove any items. I'm afraid to even eat it. With the way it looks, I wonder if the produce was even washed!!

We chose to wait in our car. After going in to check several times, the lady said we were waiting for my fish sandwich. (Said she didn't wanna "serve [us] no raw fish." Appreciated that.) But 30 minutes? My fish sandwich was tasty but the white bread was gummy. Pimp's chicken was a bit overcooked and dry. He says the sauce was runny and not flavorful. No seasoning on the chicken whatsoever. His baked beans were bleh and his collard greens were too salty (and we love salt). No bread or corn muffin. Just mediocre. Sorry. Won't be back.
