Small but perfectly formed. Radyr library has an imitate feel and the staff are always helpful and informative even when you ask slightly random questions like 'My daughter likes Harry Potter and Dan Brown - what else would she like?' Or 'I want an audio-book with no loud noises so when I fall asleep it doesn't wake me up again'.
There's been some debate in the community as to whether this branch will close and re-open on the Sidings site near the station but after much voting and debate the one on the present site across from the primary school is going to be refurbished. Dates to be decided.
As well as the books it has DVDs audio books, PCs for use, newspapers, story-time for children (Wednesday at 11am and 3.45pm) and other excellent kid's holiday activities. read more
