And the reason nobody had told them the starter had been finished! I also didn't like being asked to pay £14.50 for the drinks at the bar when the till said just £9.50! This has the potential to be a great venue but it needs some attention to detail and some awareness from the owners, You cannot be behind the bar drying glasses and ignoring customers talk to us after all we are the ones paying your salary! The pub itself is lovely, the staff could be friendlier and the food was just mediocre for the price. Not one of my favourite places for food and if I do go back it will only be for a drink.
