When I called to set up the appointment, this was the soonest they could get me in - a week out. I called every day that week to see if there were any cancellations for me to get in sooner. No luck, but totally fine. The morning of my appointment, I received a voicemail at 8:04 from Laurie saying the tech did a "call out" and they wouldn't be able to see me. I called back immediately. The guy on the phone said there was nothing they could do. I asked to speak to Laurie directly... he denied having a "Laurie" work at the office at all. At this point, I was very frustrated - I had already waited a week (in pain) and called every day to get in sooner. The man offered to reschedule me at the San Clemente location for the following Friday. I would have to wait another full week to get my MRI done. From a customer service standpoint, I have a few issues with the San Clemente Memorial Care Imaging Center. 1) Why do you only have one tech working to service MRI's? When people are injured or sick, they need prompt attention. To cancel a whole day's worth of MRI's because a tech called out sick isn't a smart (or ethical) business practice. 2) If I am getting notified of a cancellation 45 minutes before my scheduled appointment, I expect your front desk staff to reschedule me as soon as possible. Having to wait a full week due to an error on your part is ridiculous. As it is, I am having to drive 45 minutes from my home to visit the imaging center in Newport Beach as they were the only clinic that could get me in sooner. The San Clemente location should be doing everything in their power to get me in and make this right. I am beyond frustrated with the San Clemente Memorial Care Imaging Center.

Customer service is prompt, friendly, and the entire staff is on their game - seriously! I noticed some other negative reviews, and I honestly have completely the opposite experience - I honestly love this place, and having this facility as my go to for x-rays and MRIs has been a true godsend - a giant shout-out to the entire staff!

I have been to the MV…read morelocation many times, including three times in 2025 and another time just last week (Jan. 2026). I have been to the Newport Beach location a couple times as well. Every time I have used CVI, I was treated very well by the people on the phone making my appointments, the people that call a few days before my appointment with the screening questions, the front counter people, and most of all, the Technicians. In MV, I recently worked with FIORELLA, DARREN, YALILA and LAURA. In NB, I have worked with MOSES. Every one of the Techs has been very friendly and accommodating. They make sure I am as comfortable as possible and explain to me what they will be doing. Obtaining the imaging results is easy too, whether it be a disk or hard-copy. I understand everyone is different and has different expectations, but I can honestly say I have never had a bad experience at CVI and often choose to go there. CVI and most of the Doctors I see, share the same software that allows the Doctors to view the images and results in their office as soon as CVI uploads the information, so I don't have to get the disk and results myself and bring them with me to my next Doctor's appointment.

He was able to answer all my questions and ease anxiety. The front desk team was equally impressive and efficient. Check in was a breeze. Upon arrival, show ID, provide insurance information, fill out intake paperwork, and wait for your name. Pretty standard. Inside was clean and welcoming with a big screen tv for those who are accompanying the patients. One thing to note is that if patients want to grab a cd there is a $10 charge per cd. Just fill out appropriate papers, sign some Hippa releases and the CD with imaging will be printed and the report printed for you separately after the radiologist has seen the images and made the report. Reports usually take about a week to be ready. My advice: wait out the report, come back and pay the $10 to have everything done and printed at the same time. Hot tip 2: parking is free, easy, and super accessible. The location of CVI is first floor and depending on where you park, right smack in the front of the building if parking from Los Altos/Plaza side.

After the approvals were obtained, SimonMed failed to follow through, failed to check the system, failed to route me to the correct person, and instead allowed an internal escalation to interfere with approved urgent imaging. There's a radiologist tech there named Sam and she was literally the best MRI tech I've ever had. Alexis made this experience so horrible and has literally blocked me from getting really urgent imaging after this office discovered that my spine has been unstable and has been the reason for me passing out. It is so frustrating dealing with insurance companies and having things like this happen from people who aren't even doctors when you're just trying to get medical care. I had MRI scheduled today and they're canceled because of her and I've spent over 30 hours on the phone with these people and the scheduling team. Poor poor service, especially seeing is how I've been coming here for at least six years

She made me feel comfortable and is phenomenal at her job. I sincerely hope that Maddy will be recognized and get the registration that she deserves. However, when the MRI technician came to take me into the room and set up the machine, she seemed very careless and not very attentive. She briefly asked what kind of music I wanted, then closed the door and left. I asked how long the procedure would take, and I was told fifteen minutes. Once it started, the noise from the machine was extremely loud and suddenly caused me to develop a headache. I simply endured it for the full fifteen minutes. When it was finished and another staff member came in to open the machine and help me out, I mentioned what happened. He told me that next time I should ask for earplugs. I responded that I hope there won't be a next time soon, as this is not something I experience regularly. In my opinion, patients should be reminded in advance that the noise can be very loud and that ear protection is available. This discomfort could easily be prevented. I feel the staff need to be a bit more attentive and considerate, rather than just treating it as a routine task and moving on. Patients deserve more care and awareness.
