Not sure who sold the chain on sleep number beds, but who can figure their sleep number out in one night?

Location-wise, there is nothing around (like no pokestops or gyms, rip! iykyk). The closest good food I found was a 22-minute walk away. It's about a 16-minute drive from the YYZ Toronto-Pearson airport. -Free parking -Free breakfast (weekends 7-10AM, weekdays 6:30-9:30AM) -Free wifi -Free luggage storage after check out I had a room with two queen beds. It had a microwave, small fridge, and coffee maker. The shower was ok. The beds were comfy and had four pillows each. The AC worked. The lobby had two computers and a printer. There was also a station with hot water, coffee, and decaf - 24/7! There were stairs on either end of the hotel, so it was easier than using the elevator sometimes. In our room, one of the bed lights didn't work. During the weekend we stayed, they were not offering house keeping. We had to request clean towels at the front desk. There was often a musky smell in the hallway during the afternoons.

The sink was screaming hot water but the shower was lukewarm at best. We also had a light in the room we didn't understand how to use. My wife and I both had sore throats when we woke up the next morning. I checked the filter in the air unit and found it to be dirty. There is a theme to this hotel no lights work driving up the "ex" is out on express the elevator light doesn't stay on and you are fooled into thinking the elevator hasn't been called. Breakfast is free but it seems very disorganized and the last day there was no food. There was nothing in the hot station at all. Oatmeal was pretty much gone just like the first day. Pancakes were out completely, and no cinnamon rolls at all. Nice place to stay. It's about 30 minutes away from downtown Toronto. I just feel a few things need to be touched up a little bit.

The lady who checked me in took forever with another customer and I was in a hurry to get ready for a wedding with very limited time. She did change my room from the second floor to the main floor (there is no elevator in the hotel). The bathroom was gross, clear mold in the grout of the tiles or it just hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in a long time. The bathroom light fixtures had black "I don't know what" clearly visible in The bottom. I was just disgusted. There were rips in carpet, and all the clocks in the room were wrong. Also frustrating when you think you've just lost an hour of get ready time for a wedding, I was totally panicked until I checked my phone. Also there are weird sliding glass doors on the main floor rooms, like a drive up motel, did not feel safe. Then the next morning I went early to grab our continental breakfast. Not bad, some hot food and some cold, fruit, juice and coffee. However a couple minutes later they started taking everything away, so by the time my husband showed up for breakfast the food was all gone and they would not bring anything back! It was cut off at 10am on a weekend!! Ridiculous! The only thing I liked about my stay was the beds. The sheets on the bed were really soft and the bed was a nice firmness, not too hard not too soft. I will never stay here again and I will let anyone I know who is staying in the area to avoid this place! Just go across the parking lot to the Best Western it's way nicer.

The hotel itself was nice, with a decent sized pool and fitness room (open 7am-10pm daily). They have a shuttle every 30 min that goes to the airport. There is parking for a fee $4/hour (I forget the daily and weekly fees). Check in was quick and seamless and my platinum status was recognized with a choice in 500 points or a drink and snack. They even asked me whether I wanted 2 queens or 1 king. The only gripe I have about this hotel is that there are some rooms that are really far from the front because it seems like they just added to the building and moved the lobby? It's a far walk to the elevator and then we got the furthers room from the elevator on our floor. So tip: request a closer room!

Prior to my arrival, I opted in to communicate changes via text msg in an email link. I requested a mini fridge for medication which they provided free of charge and had it noted in the system. Firstly, depending how you're getting to the hotel, if you're taking the Link train directly from the airport, you're steps away from the entrance which is nice especially a long flight/commute and saves you on some costs. When checking in, they have a super easy self-service kiosk but a friendly worker saw me looking around and decided to assist. Confirmed the mini-fridge notes and my room was ready to go. He noted breakfast (not complementary) was served between a certain time, the restaurant (which looks like a seating area by the bar) was open from 11:30AM to 11:00PM, and the bar closes at 1:30AM. If you do order, the pizza is delicious -- definitely didn't expect it to be so light and airy in the texture! There is also some packaged foods downstairs as a grab-and-go style. It is quite expensive though and seeing there aren't many options around they can take advantage of the convenience here. Nonetheless, an average 22 dollars per pizza was well-priced for the size. Photos you see online is really accurate. Very cool modern decor and an interesting layout. I liked that the hotel room was stocked with nespresso pods so I could enjoy myself some good coffee in the morning. Very comfortable beds, luxurious feel to the sheets. I like a firmer bed so it's not as firm but sleeps comfy. One thing I found odd is the website said you can have yoga mats on request so I asked front desk. One worker said they have yoga mats at the gym and don't typically lend it. The other worker at front desk called to check inventory and said she'll call my room to confirm but didn't hear back. Not sure if there was a COVID policy change or confusion of knowledge transfer. I was also told due to COVID the staff does not do housekeeping, but we left for a partial part of the day noticed staff did come in to clean. Also added to my confusion. The hotel is quite isolated from everything so if you do need to get a round there's a Mississauga bus stop that's in front or you can drive/uber around to things. For the convenience of our trip, it was nice to be so close to the airport for an early flight and catch a few more zZzZz. No amentities except gym on 14th floor which is modern, there's a pool table from the photos but I didn't realized it was tucked in the back of the hotel. All-in-all, very cool place, happy with my choice and nice to know it's a little cheaper than the competing hotels in the area!
