They moved from the Bedford location and took all my records without any notice. They charged me $25 to mail me my records. This is an illegal practice, and they're getting over on patients they should be serving. They don't answer their phones either. I had to call repeatedly before they answered. They said their phone lines were down, which may be the case, but charging $25 to mail records is not legal, usually. Ask Chat GPT I encourage everyone to report them! I've had three memorable visits to have testing done. The last visit was an experience I didn't expect Yolanda at the checkin window was a pleasure, as usual. Avoid this place at all costs. Unresponsive and rude front desk staff, unhygienic conditions, and worst of all -- you may never actually receive the results you paid for. I got an MRI, and although they claimed to have sent the images through their patient portal, the portal does not work. My doctor has requested the images multiple times, but the facility refuses to send them via email, fax, or even mail. The only option they provide is to physically drive there and pick up a CD and I no longer live in the state. This is not just bad service -- it's a breach of basic medical and ethical standards. You're paying for a service that they make nearly inaccessible. I have reported this facility to my insurance company, the state medical board, and the Better Business Bureau. I have been going here for many years for my mammogram because I like the technicians. But the office personnel are horrible. And their phone staff is worse. You are cut off, sent to voicemail or put on hold and forgotten about. Then switched to another department and then you start all over again. The office is run in a terrible fashion. You stand on line and wait only to have them close your line or them telling you you are on the wrong line. Everything is written largely in Russian. I don't read Russian! Then you're asked for iD, insurance cards, (again & again!) and you go sit to fill out forms.Afterwards, back to a long line with the nasty receptionists again. The lady (named KIM) who takes the call is very unprofessional and doesn't know what she is doing. She let me wait on the phone several times. When I am answering her questions, she says, "hold on" and this took several times that I have to repeat and spell my name several times. Her tone is nasty and disrespectful. I understand if she is asking my phone number and Insurance but asking my complete address is unnecessary. She had a bad day and she's would like to ruin the days of people. Traumatizing experience. I came in at my appointed time (10:30), checked in and sat down. After still not being seen an hour and a half later I approached the front desk, who informed me they had made a mistake and my appointment was really at 11:30. At about 12, I was called to the back, placed in a small cubicle like room - about 4×6ft (it was one of several.) I was given a thin hospital gown and told to undress. As I shut the door to the small cubicle, I noticed it had several holes from wear and tare. I was left in this cubicle hallway for approximately 30 minutes, several personnel and patients walked past as I was waiting, This made me feel very uncomfortable and exposed. When I finally got to the procedure room,I asked the tech to close the door for privacy reasons, and was responded to with a passive aggressive manner. One of the doctors heard my complaints and tried to address them, but he was just very defensive and couldn't admit that anyone did anything wrong, or that the facility has some updating/repair work. I'm reviewing the facility on 1423 57th street brooklyn location. Specifically the technician for mammogram. She was unprofessional, rude and beyond anything experienced at medical facility. After being yelled at I complained to the doctor Who was very nice and apologetic told me " there has been complaints for her before but employed here because she's good at taking good pictures". There's no way she should treat people like she does. Surprised the place hasn't been sued yet. Never going back ever. The doctor was very nice and giving one star for him. read more

I've gone to Radiology Associates of Brooklyn several times to get X-rays and CAT scans done. I was always pleasantly surprised at how quickly I was given the appointment - no waiting for a week or two. Once, they even asked me if I wanted to come in an hour - I was not prepared for such immediate response and had to come the next day. Because everything is done on site and nothing gets sent out to another lab, the results are ready very quickly too. The staff is always willing to give you a copy of your X-ray and/or the doctor's explanation and opinion of what the X-ray shows. If you need to request more copies later, that's no problem either. read more

An absolutely horrid piece of s-t hole. Even their awning looks like it was caught in several tornados so that's your red flag before even coming in. Beyond packed. Disgustingly mismanaged. You have elderly pneumonia patients sitting and coughing all over small children who are there for wrist X-rays and are now catching airborne illnesses. Some of the NASTIEST front desk staff in Brooklyn. Holy COW these creatures are vile. They look at you as if you dated disturb their FB posts and texts and are actually making them lift their fingers to pick up and hand you check-in forms. There are wait times everywhere you go, sure, that's what happens. But don't tell patients 30 min, just to roll your eyes when they ask you for an update AN HOUR AND A HALF LATER. This review is in regard to the 762 Bedford location. I was given a business card along with my referral. First, this location is listed on their website as being located in "Williamsburg" but is NOT anywhere near there. It is located in BEDSTUY which by train is 30 min away from Williamsburg and at least a 15-20 min car ride so this is a complete misrepresentation. Second, it took nearly 10 days of calling to get someone on the phone. I left messages at least twice and never received a call back. Their call lines are also closed a couple days a week so that also did not help. On Monday the 2nd I booked an appointment (or so I thought) but the man who took the call did not know if my insurance was accepted and said he would call back by 7pm that day to let me know. I never got a call back and it took until Thursday to get anyone back on the phone. Turns out not only do they NOT accept my insurance but their "system was down" when he booked my appt on Monday so it was never booked. Why didn't he tell me on the phone the system was down???? I slowly gave this man my number and repeated it multiple times yet he still entered the wrong number. He claims her called me back but that was not my phone number so I never received a call. While on the phone today they kept trying to book me when the first thing I need to know is if my insurance is accepted before I can proceed so they are just out of whack there in how they are doing things. If you need an Xray you can get through to Lenox Hill Radiology fairly quickly, they send a confirmation Email and text (imagine that!) and they take my insurance (Affinity by Molina Healthcare). I'm writing this review because I wasn't a lot of time trying to get that appt and getting nowhere shouldn't have taken so long. read more

FRIENDS AND FAMILY PLEASE READ!!!!! Ok I tried to post this on Radiology Associates facebook page and they said it was under review. What the heck - they don't allow posts WITH FACTS on their FB page without review. Well they can not review my post. I got a letter from them telling me that if I had a mammogram in the last 2 years along with 10,0000 other people I needed to have another one done if my Dr. thought I needed one because their equipment was faulty. WTH, I got a new prescription to have another mammogram and got an appointment for October Well while on vacation they called and left a message THEY had rescheduled it to 11/13/18 at 2:30 because their equipment was not fixed yet. Told me to be there by 2:15 to check in which I was there by 2:05, checked in and sat there. Finally at 2:50 asked them how long it would be because my mother was 89 with Alzheimer's and was alone. I was told they were 45 minutes behind schedule. Are you kidding me the procedure takes 10 minutes and you are 45 minutes behind. I waited the full 45 minutes and then asked when I was going to be taken back, and asked why are so far behind and was told they overbook these appointments.They said I was the next in line. After another 10 minutes they took me back and did the mammogram. The tech was very nice and apologetic (I know it was not her fault.) I am sorry but there is NO EXCUSE for this.Do they think their time is more important than mine. I call BS. They are the ones that had to send out 10,000 certified letters to patients because their equipment was faulty. I tried to post this on their Facebook page and it said post under review. So now they don't allow people to post the FACTS on their page. They need to STOP overbooking these tests and take patients at the appointed times. I understand there are emergencies but come on now. MY TIME is just as important as theirs. I had to have a CT scan last week and they were 25-30 minutes behind on that as well. I let that slide because of the kind of test it was but come on STOP OVERBOOKING YOUR APPOINTMENTS WE ARE HUMANS TOO AND DON'T DESERVE THIS TYPE OF TREATMENT.!!!!!! read more

I was told be there at 11 for an 11:30 appointment. I was there at 11 and wasn't called until 12:30. I waited my turn to sign in and was then told the window was closed. I went to the next window and was told she was working on paperwork for three other patients and didn't have time for me. Begrudgingly, she gave me my paperwork to fill out. I waited my turn to hand it in at another window. The person at that window took my paperwork, said just a minute, got up and took a ten minute break standing at the side of the office. She came back, and loudly asked me a personal health question. During this an elderly woman in a thin gown was practically paraded by a staff member across the open office. When called in, I was offered a restroom break and told to look for the person who escorted me in. I located her. She left me waiting in the hallway while she took another five minutes sitting at a desk on a break. In the hallway immediately opposite me was a woman in a thin gown laying on a treatment table with two personnel and the door open. When the personnel came out, I asked why the door wasn't closed for privacy. I was nastily told that I didn't belong in the hallway. I said I'm waiting where I was told to wait. That resulted in my receiving another nasty comment. The changing room was small and flimsy and I actually spent most of my procedure worried that I had left my bag there as instructed. The technician was friendly and shared a story that involved her interaction with someone at a supermarket where she had left a door open (?) and the person had commented on it. To show what she thought of that she stuck her middle finger in my face. This place was odd and unpleasant. The staff, from the front desk encounters, to the personnel in the hallway, were unpleasant, disrespectful of patients, and unprofessional. I don't post a lot of negative reviews. If I could give this place less than one star I would. read more

Poor service. When I walked into the room for chest cat scan, technician never offered me a locker. I had to take me cloth off and put it an a chair. Also, I took my gold chain off and put an a top of my sweater. When I was done I put my cloth on , chain was not there. I could drop it on the floor. Ok. on the way home I noticed I don't have it . I called them up about 3 : 45 , but place was closed. I left a message and email them no even on Monday I have no respond. When I call them Monday morning, very unfriendly woman direct to someone , who told me that they turn all place inside out , but did not see anything. So, chain walked away by it self. And nobody even bother to call me after receiving my messages. Its not about the money. It has great sentimental value. Someone took my chain and will never admit it. I was referred to this radiology by my PCP for a Cheat X-ray due to being sick for a few weeks. I called ahead of time for an appointment and any of their information I needed to know. I was told I did not need an appointment and to come before 4:00pm. I then went to the radiology today around 12:30pm however there was a very long wait and the woman at the front desk recommended me to come around 4 when they finished doing X-rays. I came back around 3:30pm, waited for approximately 20 minutes, and then was informed that I wouldn't be getting a chest X-ray because my insurance required prior authorization for the test. I obviously got upset because that was my second time there that day and no one bothered to check my insurance or even inquire. They offered me instead to pay cash. I have been coming for years,love this place. I won't go anywhere else if I can avoid it. My doctors are all pleased with the quality of the images. Most are surprised with how well and use this as their preferred recommend in Brooklyn. I have had many surgeries, all had been detected here. I am pleased that they're always help expedite urgency, it saved my life. I have received calls to go to hospital more than once after imaging. I had one MRI yesterday and one today. I have read several of the negative reviews and I did not find any of the problems that were indicated. I found the staff very courteous. I was called at my exact appointment time yesterday and actually a few minutes before my scheduled time today. I have to admit I was happily surprised. For those that need their test copied to a disk, there is a separate room to the left as you enter the office. The ladies here were equally as friendly and courteous.
