I have listened to Elvis Duran and the Morning Show every single morning for all these years! I had them on the morning of 9-11 when they literally saw the plane hit the tower. They were amazing at getting listeners through that tough time. Then again during the pandemic they lifted up listeners and got them through another dark time in NY. They are funny, up to date on current events, and talk to you like family. I never miss a show now either thanks to OnDemand through iheart radio! From the top of the empire state building... always! Happy 25yrs EDMS!!!! I also loved listening to Mo Bounce in afternoons or nights and I am very upset they let him go to revamp the lineup. Minus one star for that.

I carried it with me everywhere, I always had a Radio with CBS on next to my bed. As a teenager we used to visit our local Radio Stations trying to get inside to meet the DJ's. I'm glad I experienced CBS Radio during its many reincarnations. It's fun to visit when you're in the city. Before Covid anyway! CBS Radio was a radio broadcasting company and radio network operator owned by CBS Corporation, and consolidated radio station groups owned by CBS and Westinghouse Broadcasting/Group W since the 1920s and Infinity Broadcasting since the 1970s. The broadcasting company was sold to Entercom on November 17, 2017. CBS News Radio, formerly known as CBS Radio News and historically known as the CBS Radio Network, provides news to more than 1,000 radio stations throughout the United States. The network is owned by ViacomCBS. My daughter worked at Viacom years ago. While the network's World News Roundup is the longest-running news show on radio or TV in the U.S., the title of longest-running network radio show of any kind goes to another CBS Radio program--'Music and the Spoken Word', a half-hour of music and inspirational thought featuring the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square. It began on July 15, 1929 and currently airs each Sunday morning at 11:30 Eastern Time. Just as a tidbit of information, the longest running radio show of any kind is the Grand Ole Opry, broadcast on WSM in Nashville, Tennessee since November 28, 1925.

Some have been more interesting to me than others, but they all have two people talking to each other. It's an organization that's taking stories from all different Americans for storage at the Library of Congress. An audible history bank of sorts. All sorts of stories told. They have an app and you can do it yourself on the app. Recently the touring Storycorps airstream came to Buffalo for a month or so. I immediately secured one of the interview spots for two family members. Neither born American, one has lived here for over 50 years - having done graduate studies here. The other visiting from South America. They went through the process and it was great. Well organized and very comfortable. This is a terrific project.

Around August 1998, several of my former business associates met with him at my former office located at 145 West 45th Street in New York City. During that meeting, we exchanged ideas about the future of the music industry and discussed strategies for introducing independent record labels to the emerging process of converting vinyl recordings into what would later become widely known as MP3 digital files. The conversation was groundbreaking for its time, and Mr. Williams was open-minded enough to offer us the opportunity to help spearhead a dance music channel on the Click Radio software platform called "Play DJ." That experience made me realize I needed to deepen my understanding of startup development and venture growth. Shortly afterward, my former business colleague Reggie Laroach and I enrolled in a nine-week continuing studies course at Stanford University titled "Bus 16: Startups - From Idea to IPO". The experience became a defining moment in my entrepreneurial journey. You can read more about that chapter of my life here: [Byron Burke at Stanford: Hustle, Survival & Startup Vision](https://rudetymz.com/news/f/byron-burke-at-stanford-hustle-survival-startup-vision) Click Radio helped pave the way for major record companies to begin converting their music catalogs into digital formats, contributing to a major shift in how music would eventually be distributed worldwide. It was inspiring to witness a young Black entrepreneur take a visionary idea and successfully raise more than $40 million to bring that vision to life. At the same time, it was difficult to later witness that dream unravel due to corporate politics, greed, and the absence of a strong support structure focused on protecting his long-term interests.

I've always been a fan of their broadcasting especially the arts and entertainment stuff they've always provided throughout the years. Consider Me back on board; go online thirteen.org or call 1.800.468.9913 This concert which was originally filmed in 2019 was supposed to be released to indoor IMAX theaters and like everything else it took a back seat to Covid. In August it was released to pop up outdoor drive in theaters where each car was charged a fee for access. This type of venue did not do this show any justice and it was not appreciated by anyone but true hardcore Metallica fans. Much like the first S & M offering it is an incredible melding of two entirely different styles of music but somehow it works and in a Huge Killer way.
