Everyone at Margarita was super nice, and you could tell that everyone involved with the escape room were hardcore enthusiasts. Rita's is their stand-alone, which was a lot of fun and was challenging but not frustratingly so. Definitely can do it with two people with minimal to no hints. Renegade is where they really bring it in terms of design and puzzles. We escaped Retrofit but needed help, and Episodes 2 and 3 were very challenging (we did not escape). Having a third or fourth person would have helped. I can't say much without spoiling anything, but they definitely put their love into this one. It is the same set for all three chapters, but certain elements are only active depending on which episode you're playing. But if you hate lock heavy rooms then this one is for you. I think just about every puzzle you solve leads to the next one without ever having to spin numbers or letters on a lock. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping off here. Plenty of parking and there's Ancient Peaks wine tasting room with a menu across the street. Or The Range or The Porch not too far up the road.

This winery will not be on my list to revisit.

The Filipponi ranch hosts the production annually and it's an amazing experience and wonderful property. The stage is a little ways from the tasting room but set nicely in a valley between some hills and a nice shade covering of oak trees. Bringing your own food was encouraged but we were asked to buy the wine from the host set up at the stage. Everything was great. Prices were reasonable for the glasses and bottles. The people working were very nice and accommodating and it made for an all around perfect date night with my wife. I did not have a glass while there but I did sample their 2023 Chardonnay and it was very nice. We asked if they had any fully cooked bottles for us to take home and enjoy on a later date. They did and I'm very excited for the pairings I have in mind for this bottle. This experience has solidified that the wife and I will definitely need another date night but at the tasting room this time. Highly recommend this business.

The house was the perfect base for exploring the area with our guests, hosting family that was in town for the wedding, and just simply relaxing in the beautiful space out back. It was more than spacious for our group of adults and children that we were staying with, the game room with the foosball table was a major hit with the kids. Although the highlight, naturally, was the tortoises! The property has two large sulcata torts named George and Tommy who were absolute delights. Waking up with a cup of coffee in the morning and heading out back to feed them hibiscus flowers was easily the BEST way to start our days. We CANNOT WAIT to have an excuse to come back and will definitely be bringing friends and family to stay in the future. Such a wonderful oasis, I cannot recommend this place highly enough!!!
