In my experience there's two kinds of mechanics. The old school fix it quick & get it working…read moremechanics and the diligent fine-tuning mechanics. Danville Bike Shop is definitely the latter. I stopped through just to pick up a tire & tubes on my bike ride across America but was given the full treatment. Ernst took his time with my bike, tightening any and all loose bolts, replacing the rim strip, & finally noticing a bent derailleur hanger & fixing it. Furthermore he spent a good 15 minutes wrestling with my new tire which was stubbornly refusing to sit in the wheel perfectly. I've seen many mechanics turn away or just settle from less frustrating issues. I highly recommend DBF. Prices are fair & the work is great.
