Our favorite vendor is Howard Hughes and his lovely wife Carol. We buy a new cutting board almost every time we visit because they are so beautiful. We use them as cheese boards and as serving trays because it would seem wrong to mar them. But that is just us. These are genuinely nice people. We also bought edible flowers, local honey, local strawberries and chia teas while we there. Great stop on a Saturday morning.

I've not had any trouble at this location and have found most of what I need during my quick shops to/from the eastern shore. I appreciate the quality of produce and their 3 ingredient sourdough is pretty awesome for a delicious melt, BLTA, or roasted veggie sandwich. I've tried the hot honey goat cheese and it is very mild compared to others like Montchevre and Colosse. Great base though for a whipped spread if you wanna zhoosh it up with ghost pepper less honey. This location is bright and always in order. A plus for self checkout, and parking is plenty. Staff are always friendly!

The food is unique and cheaper than many of the name brands you will get at Wal-Mart and Food Lion, the Aldi brands are mostly from Europe. Though doubt you will miss the name brands or even many of the Wal-Mart store brand, as the quality of the brands at Aldi rival the name brands. For example you got the 89¢ cans of Summit energy drinks that are up there in quality to the Monster energy drinks that are $2.28 at Walmart. Only downside is you have to bring a quarter to get a cart and bring your own bags. But it is better for the environment, and it keeps prices lower to not spend money on bags or cart pushers. If you hate carrying cash like me for the cart issue get somthing called a cart token on Temu or Amazon, and put it on your keychain, it will trick the quarter lock into thinking you are putting a quarter in. Hope this helps!

They sell amazing products in their retail farm stand and also offer wholesale produce to several grocery stores and restaurants on the Delmarva peninsula. This locally owned and operated business was originally started as a way for founder Shane Marvel to pay for college. Nine short years later it is a way for him to support his family and give back to the community. In business since 2013 they have expanded from a one acre produce production farm  to a 40 acre operation to include 40 acres of grain production in 2022. Their quality produce and unmatched customer service resonates throughout the community! We have been buying produce from them since returning to Delaware in 2020 and are glad there is fresh local produce to buy. We love supporting locally owned and operated businesses. They also have locally sourced products on the shelves from scrapple, sauces, and homemade Smith Island Cakes. So, if you love a good farmers market and love to support local businesses then look no further than Marvelous Produce!

While you see thousands of watermelons, tomatoes, ears of corn and more the true test is the taste, a little hard to do when you passing by market after market. With delivery AND a loyalty card built in - how can you beat that? Having purchased huge peaches and plums, my first thought it was appearance is always better than the taste. Not in this case. I stuffed all the produce in the refrigerator in a bag, as I seem to be a magnet for fruit flies and produce left out on the counter. Two weeks later, TWO WEEKS LATER, in an excursion to the beach, we grabbed the fruit and headed out. It was as it was picked yesterday. I needed multiple napkins for one peach and plum as the juice exploded with every bite. Yes it was that good. Add to this the generosity, cordiality, and hard work you sense coming off the Marvels' when you visit their stand, having experienced the generosity and abundance of the Mums in the Fall season, and Mums that added to the decor of a school Homecoming, you see based on the amount of produce, the quality of the produce, and the service you receive, this is one of the best finds that make the state Delaware. Sounds like a boast that is larger than life and larger than reality, but try out Marvelous Produce once, you will remain in the same category.
