Allie is incredible!…read more After relocating to Los Angeles from Washington State, my husband and I spent weekends touring open houses around LA to get a feel for different neighborhoods - and to meet realtors we might want to work with. By total chance, I scheduled a last minute tour through Redfin for a home in Alhambra, and Allie was the agent assigned to me. It ended up being the happiest accident. From the moment we met her, Allie's candidness, warm personality, and sense of humor made us instantly comfortable. We knew right away that she was the person we wanted guiding us through this process. Even with our relatively small list of home requirements, we had one big challenge: finding something between Pasadena and Beverly Hills that fit our (small!) budget. Allie approached it with creativity, deep market knowledge, and thoughtful suggestions that helped us explore areas we might not have considered on our own. We made offers on two homes before landing on the one that was truly meant for us. Through every twist and turn, Allie's honesty, expertise, and steady reassurance kept us grounded. She took the time to explain each step, advocated for us, and made us laugh when we needed it most. I'm so grateful we stumbled upon Allie. We'll absolutely work with her again -- and we encourage everyone we know to do the same.

The five things that come to mind when I reflect on our home purchase with Allie Altschuller of…read moreClarkliving are, professionalism, patience, knowledgeable, understanding and resourcefulness. It was obvious from our first call with Allie that she was extremely knowledgeable of the Pasadena/Altadena area, and where in each of those communities we would feel most at home. From that point on, Allie helped not only to find the perfect home for us, but she also brought in the right team to help identify key items to negotiate a favorable sales agreement. All of this speaks to Allie's negotiating skills, attention to detail, communication and problem-solving skills. It was obvious Allie had a deep understanding of the local market, and was aware of current trends and property values in the neighborhoods that would suit our lifestyle. This was key to our success in finding our new home, as we are moving to SoCal from another state. In far less time that we expected. we found our new home. Then Allie took over to close the deal. During our negotiations, Allie's communication skills and empathy shone brightly in ways that resulted in a very favorable final sales agreement. Allie was also able to identify the issues that mattered most to us and found solutions that were consistently more than satisfactory to us and the seller. Allie was able to explain to us the California real estate market, the sellers' perspective and the new realtor commission environment, which really helped ease the stress of buying a new home. It seemed like Allie was looking out for us like we were part of her family. And Allie didn't leave us after the ink dried. She has continued to be our guiding light in finding solutions to make our new home move in ready, finding the right professionals for the right job. I can't think of any way that Allie couldn't have helped us more.

To my delight and surprise, Susan responded that she would love to help us find our "forever home" in Palm Springs. We sent Susan a list of condos we wanted to see and she set up 12 (or 15?) showings over two days. Susan drove out to Palm Springs and our condo-hunting adventures began. We ended up looking at about 12 condos and of course, we decided to make an offer on the first place we saw. Susan was terrific in helping us through the process. She worked well with the seller's agent and when she had questions (buying on lease land in Palm Springs was a new process for her, being LA-based) she was not afraid to ask. I recommend Susan Sanford to anyone looking for a terrific, hard-working, honest, and communicative realtor.

What can I say about Joe and Monique? They are absolutely incredible. I feel so lucky to have…read moreworked with them. They took me, a first time, out of state, and very nervous homebuyer, and made the experience feel exciting instead of overwhelming. They were incredibly kind and so knowledgeable. Monique is the face of this operation, and she not only would pick me up from the airport when I came to tour houses, but was always exuberant and excited to show me new neighborhoods on our packed house tour weekends. She is so smart, always ready to explain problems, and one time fully went UNDER a house to check the foundation. Her knowledge of neighborhoods, structural integrity and real estate trends is hugely impressive and she's also just really fun to hang out with. When I wasn't able to see a house, she did house tours via facetime or took videos. Monique was upfront about the struggles I might come up against with certain houses, and when I found the house of my dreams she worked so hard to make it a reality. Joe is more behind the scenes, organizing everything and managing all the paperwork. As we were closing he and Monique kept me, someone who is terribly forgetful, on track to close in time. Joe coordinated the myriad of inspections, calls and kept things in order. I'm so happy with the house I found, in a neighborhood I love, very outside of where we had originally been looking, and it's a home that I am overjoyed to be in. Joe and Monique basically made the next few decades of my life beautiful and I'm so happy to have worked with them.

We immediately began calling neighbors and the police as we rushed back to the house. Once we arrived, we saw Monique Carrabba, who informed us that she was the one who triggered the alarm. She made a point of saying that she knew our house was not ready for showings. She said she checked the listing and it said "no phone calls, no emails" etc. The sign on our lawn says "coming soon". Yet in spite of every literal sign saying "do not come in", she did exactly that. She entered our home with her client, and if the alarm would not have gone off, we may have never even known she was here. I don't want to imagine what might have happened if I came home and found her trespassing in my home. Needless to say, this incident caused a lot of unnecessary stress and anxiety. Monique's entitled behavior was totally and completely disrespectful, unprofessional, and reckless. I understand if her client was only in town for the weekend, but we would have gladly accommodated her with a simple phone call or email to our agent. This experience will make it very unlikely for us to accept any offers from any Carrabba Group clients.

All this during a sluggish rental market where she could have asked me to accept the first interested parties and did not. What really stood out was her professionalism and no-nonsense approach. Gigi didn't waste time sugarcoating the situation or overpromising. Instead, she gave me a clear plan, honest feedback, and handled the whole process with care and precision which for me - someone being new to being a landlord really appreciated. Another thing worth calling out: Gig knows how to deal with other agents -- including the ones who are unmotivated or inexperienced -- without letting it derail the deal. Watching her navigate those dynamics with calm confidence was impressive.
