Only thing I didn't get when leaving was a copy of my lab order and referrals and due to my work schedule haven't called or drove back in to get copies so I'm not sure where I'm going for my labs or referrals. Office also could use an upgrade at some point but the medical quality of the care you will receive here is top notch. Definitely recommend based on my first visit.

My husband had major surgery 6 weeks ago and there has been no follow up from Dr. Kunz or his staff to check on his well being. We are now actively searching for a new primary care physician. I had a coding problem/error from Lab order they sent in Nov. of 2025. SIX MONTHS later, they have not resubmitted the order correctly. No responses, no help. The medical teams are generally good but it is getting impossible to navigate to them through the crowds, disorder, disorganization and administrative incompetence.

I asked him about some discoloration on my toe nails. He barely glanced at them & said nothing. I asked him again, what I should do? His response? "Paint them". Wow. Great advice, Doctor. As I was leaving & was halfway out the door, he said: "go eat a salad." We weren't even talking at that point. I was leaving & we were done with my exam. To me that was incredibly cruel as having a weight problem is already difficult enough. If we had been talking about weight loss, I could understand his comment. But we weren't. I was almost out the door & he made that comment completely out of the blue. That comment made me feel so much self hatred. I wish I had been mad at him, but I took his mean words out on myself. Once I was forgotten about in an exam room. I waited about an hour after being put in there for my appointment. I finally went out & asked when I'd see Dr. Kay? Oh yeah, they forgot I was waiting!!! He never listened; always seemed inconvenienced; was rude; didn't take time to go through questions/concerns I had; and obviously made me feel like garbage for gaining weight. He knew I suffered from severe depression & was recovering from bulemia, as well as a self harm attempt, so those comments showed such a lack of care as well as professionalism that I wish I had changed GP doctors immediately. But I didn't. I wasn't strong enough or brave enough, so I was so glad when he retired. The doctor who took over his practice, Dr. Fen Liang is a dream! She is everything an amazing doctor should be. Dr. Kay, at the end had no right to be treating anybody because it is completely obvious that he did not care one bit about his patients or their mental/physical health. I'm so glad he is gone!
