Very unprofessional staff. I visited on January 23rd and the staff members couldn't even check me out without having a full blown conversation the entire time. Nobody greets you, just take your payment n go.ill stick to quick trip! read more

Love this location when I'm on this side of town. The station usually has the best price on the strip. Easy location to get to right off the highways. Always clean and no loitering around. The staff always speaks to you upon entry and thank you upon exiting. The coffee/food station is always pretty up to par. The pumps are always working and most of the time the receipt paper is printable, if you want your receipts. read more

WOW, Stopped here for cigarettes and a bag of ice. Was floored at the lack of professionalism the clerks had... I would have loved to use my rewards phone number, But between the broken Ebonics that the little short staffed manager had I was informed her that the reward system was down. The young lady ringing me up had asker three times for my bag I swear I stand there and wait and she mumbled can't he walk his white ass over here and get his bag of ice again with very broken Ebonics or whatever language she was attempting to use. My suggestion would be go to the quick trip over the bridge. Myself I will not spend money if at the very least the staff can have some sort of a professional demeanor about their self... considering the young lady's name tag said that she was in some sort of management you would really think that she would be trying to lead by example... read more

Clean, right off the interstate, and well stocked, the Racetrac service station was just what I needed. Though I don't suggest that you try their "Chocolate Mint Espresso" latte, it's from a mix and the mix is awful. The bathrooms, while clean are awfully loud. The acoustics are out of this world. Every flush, every door slam, every time the hand dryers go on, it's a migraine headache waiting to happen. read more

This is the worst store that I have ever encountered. As a former employee of just three days, during orientation I've experienced an overload of work duties without training, HR who refuses to give me my pay although stating in email I "would receive a deposit in my account January 14" it is after 5:17 PM and no deposit has yet to come, debris and dirt left for third shift to clean and maintain, no soap in women's bathrooms for days, toilet plumbing issues in same bathrooms, faulty machinery; clock in/out machine, cash registers, theft in the store by associates, callouts, quits, and let's not forget recruiters who interview and on-board applicants in the most haphazard manner ever. Run from this place, I would not eat the food there as a former employee of three days I insisted on cleaning muck, staleness, and crust left for days visibly in the machines again, I myself thoroughly cleaned which had been sitting and left for more than a week it is impossible that color changes and smells and various crusts needing to be scraped from coffee machinery, food grill machinery, and breakfast cooking apparatuses are just one or two days. This store is hygienically unsafe as we are in a COVID-19 matter. I would not eat from this store nor would you be able to go to the bathroom as noted above is most un cleanly there is also leaks in the building when it rains. read more

After traveling in the snow and ice to go to the nearest location that was open, we (my boyfriend and I) stopped in at this establishment. The store was not organized in a fashion that would allow us to easily discover items we needed. (i.e. snack foods were not grouped together, popular items on bottom shelves). We decided to purchase two alcoholic beverages and upon reaching the counter with our merchandise, before we could even place anything on the counter my boyfriend was prompted for his ID, which was understandable. Taking out his ID the white male manager stated that he could not take his ID because of policy. The policy that was quoted to us was "when the ID has the 'under 21' red label on it we can't accept it". Of course, we asked why. He is 21 and the lichees does not expire for 2 years, however, the policy was repeated to us. To my understanding the law states that alcohol sales are to be refused if the person is intoxicated. I understand that people create certain standards, morals, or whatever to ensure they keep their license, however, in this situation nothing seemed to make sense. The manager could not give a clear explanation as to why the sale was refused. After rethinking the situation we decided to return our purchase because if we could not receive what we specifically wanted we felt we should not do business their. Upon returning a new clerk was at the counter and was in training. After placing our items on the counter, yet again, the young man Curtis asked what we were doing. My boyfriend stated that he wanted to return the items. Curtis, with the demeanor of uncouth cocky distain stated "What? You a Pepsi guy?" That comment was not needed. We were already risking our lives to be in the elements, but to joke with a customers who were clearly irritated was uncalled for. After the same manager showed Curtis how to return the merchandise he hands back the money and states "Ball out." With every ounce of decency we refrained from starting an altercation. There is no way in heaven that we would ever shop at this location or any other location knowing that their employees are unknowledgeable, unfriendly, and odious. We both decided to risk our lives even more to get what we wanted at a better location, QuikTrip. If there was a RaceTrac 10 feet from our home and we were out of gas, we would gladly carry a gas can miles from this establishment and all the others to keep from doing business with them. Avoid any and all RaceTracs when possible. read more

Three things that are a positive here: 1) I have never been shot at 2) No crackhead as approached me begging for money 3) It is in a convenient location Other than that, its just another gas station with oversized selection of crappy packaged food, alcohol, and lottery tickets. It isn't the easiest to get in and out of compared to some other spots nearby with cheaper gas. read more

The Race Trac location in McDonough was a great addition to what was needed in good gas prices and convenience for the time of day/morning. But lately the store is unexpectedly closed from time to time for whatever reason, and I have also noticed lately the panhandling of one particular gentlemen hitting everyone up for money as they approach the door, not to mention he will follow you around asking for money or change. This may seem petty to complain about but events such as these have a negative effect on a business to the point the business becomes unfit to produce anything positive that continues to be good for the community. But this is also the state of McDonough overall and what was once a great hometown community that is now becoming demographically tolerant to the urban sprawl of Atlanta. read more

Was very disappointed last night as I frequent here for the "Swirl" frozen yogurt bar... before I could even get out of my car there was a young lady tapping my window trying to panhandle for money. I am certain there are cameras in use and this was easily viewable by management. I decided instead of going in to make a purchase to simply drive away. LOST BUSINESS!! I'm reluctant to go back here as this is never what I want to experience when I wish to go make a purchase. Management please do better and keep these folks out of you parking lot, or risk losing business. read more
