I am unsure of the true reason behind this (besides laziness and the unwillingness to work and complete the job you are paid to do), but this 24-hour store will close sometime between 11 pm and 1 am to mop the floor. Seriously...to mop the floor! Two yellow "Wet Floor" caution signs are put out, yet no mop buckets nor mops, and you won't see the employees again for about 2 hours. No courtesy signage is hung to alert all the potential customers as to when the store will be opened again. And don't bother going to the window checkout area to ring the bell for service, because they will just ignore it. Of course, that's assuming the bell even rings. I am flabbergasted by the number of people that are forced to take their business elsewhere. But let's be honest, it's a Small Town! Since the Pilot truck stop closed, this RaceTrac location is about the only thing open late, late night. Henceforth, my motivation for writing this review...i get my cigarettes there around the time stated, & it truly irks me when the employees arbitrarily decide to "mop the floor" when patrons are still steadily arriving, specifically when there are NO alternative places nearby. Even worse is the blatant neglect & disrespect for all the "would-be" customers! The money/profit being lost is astronomical because it's the ONLY store open In-Town. To me, the answer is obvious! Wouldn't it make more sense to mop at 1-3 am or 2-4 am while there is a lull in clientele flow? Or better yet, actually utilize the window checkout area with that nifty bell & the pull drawer to service customers outside (because that's what it was made for) while the other staff pretends to mop the floor. You could even implement a rotation so everyone gets their two hour break without missing all the fun. Furthermore, this would keep disgruntled patrons, like myself, from writing these disturbing, but true reviews that reveal your behavior or lack thereof to upper management. read more

No toilet paper in the bathroom. The gas pumps are always having some kind of problems. The yogurt machines are over flowing and very messy. Great selection of items, snacks, drinks, etc. Most of the employees there are very nice and courteous, but they work under miserable conditions. read more

This RaceTrac is at the Interstate 209 turnoff, driving for 3 miles at the other end by Airline Highway, & has a Winstation which is where I chose to scan my winning scratcher tickets. I had $90.00 in winning scratcher tickets, & I got the $5.00 Cash In. Of which, I ended up with $65.00 & I got Lotto Quick Picks for an upcoming drawing at a store near my home many miles away. I play on hoping for the win. read more
