This QT is a convenient stop when I am on the road to and from Nashville from Atlanta. Its either one of my last stops or first, depending on the direction I am traveling. Service is hit and miss here. I have hit this location to and from on one trip and had completely different experiences. Never terrible, just noticeable. Overall, I enjoy QT's. We do not have many in the Nashville area, so I try to make it point to swing by when I am back in the Atlanta area.

When in northern Georgia, I find myself seeking out QT gas stations when my car is telling me that it is time to fill up. The reason is, as stated before, what lays beyond the doors to the store within. Not only are there surprisingly good hot dogs and toppings on rollers, but a food counter, a long row of coffee, iced tea, and soda selections, as well as the usual gas station offerings. Service is also obviously a corporate focus, you are created upon entry and the crew works diligently to meet the customer's needs, certainly a challenge. I recommend finding one if you are in Georgia. I am confident that you will seek them out time and time again when in their area.

Sometimes it is just 5 cents but today I saved 10 cents per gallon I bought. Now, they have a new promotion which if you buy some bottles of cokes you can save up to 20 cents per gallon of gas bought. I like all Murphy gas stations while traveling as I try to find one nearby using by GPS where ever I'm at because I know I save money. In summary, I highly recommend Murphy Gas to anyone. I've always enjoyed their fried chicken and picked up an eight piece box today. After I left, I decided to have a piece. The first piece I picked up (see picture) didn't have any meat left on it; it had been fried off. I came back to let them know. I took the single piece of burnt crust and bones in and spoke to the young girl behind the manager's desk. She was dismissive, offered no apology, and no remedy. I felt sorry because if this had been my first experience with their chicken, it would be my last. Her flippant attitude is the reason for the one star.

So if you're not familiar with the area you'll be looking at the wrong side of the road and drive in circles. Driveway is steep. Gotta back out at an angle or you'll scrape your vehicles bottom or back end. Facility is decent. Prices are a little high $4-6 for washing. Drying is ok at $1.50 a load. One bathroom for men and women or children to all share. No paper towels. 4 machines are taped over and not working. All in all ok and we'll use it again.

How can the non American owned laundromat just down the street close on such an important holiday but SUDS can't let their employees be with their families? I know the owners weren't staffing the place. I am a weekly patron and pay an average of 25.00 per week to do my laundry there while my husband and I finish building our new home. Kim is awesome and the main reason I go there. I think I will go to the other laundromat simply because this one is apparently open on Christmas also.
