Exceeded Expectations by A Ton -…read more Over the years we have used various painters, with various levels of success and with plenty of frustration. This time we spent some time taking different proposals before hiring. JT seemed very buttoned up and competitive from a price standpoint when they came to create a proposal, but you never really know until the work is done. Right from Day 1 it was clear that JT was the best we have worked with. They showed up on time, were prepared to work, had enough people there to do the job, and more importantly they were polite, friendly and professional. The job took 3 days, which is less than what they promised. Every day they left the space clean and habitable. Now that the work is finished, I can say without question that JT is the best we have seen. The work looks great, no mess left behind and no lingering issues to deal with, within budget and done early. Great job and highly recommended. We will call them first for any future work.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Mike and Esvin and I could list a dozen reasons why. The installation of our hardwood flooring was completed one day prior to the painting of the interior of our home. The company that installed our floors failed to inform us that the baseboards would need to be replaced in the areas where the carpeting was being removed. That company also informed us that it would be several weeks before they could get us on their schedule to get those installed. That same company that installed my flooring also caused damage to my kitchen ceiling. What an absolute nightmare. Until Esvin walked into my home. He saw that the baseboards would need to be replaced on the first floor before the walls could be painted. He offered to call people that he knew to see if they could work us in while the painters from ProTect started on the second floor. He then said he would call around so he could locate the exact paint color that the builder used on our ceilings five years ago so he and his men could repair the damage that was done. Esvin found a man that worked two nights straight removing the old baseboards and installing the new ones. Also, Esvin's crew patched and painted the ceiling, leaving no evidence that there was ever damage to begin with. Not only do you get the pleasure of working with these kind people, their crew of painters are amazing. They painted the interior of our 3,000sf home and the end result is beautiful, absolutely flawless. They also worked on a Sunday so they could be done prior to the delivery of seven rooms of furniture. And then they washed my floors. (Yep. They sure did.) Tomorrow they start on my 1600sf rental property and I know I will be thrilled with the end result. I can pretty much guarantee that Mike Felten, the owner, will make you and your project his top priority.

The estimate was much more detailed than other painters I interviewed and Perspective met every aspect of it. They were meticulous, trustworthy, did an excellent job, finished within the promised timeframe, and left my home fairly clean when they packed up to go. I will definitely be hiring Perspective Painting again next spring to stain the deck, and I give them my highest recommendation.

I'd moved into my house 3 years ago and I never liked the sage green that was on the walls but - well you know - some things keep getting pushed back and this was one project I let fall by the wayside. I finally said I wanted it done this year so I reached out to Babes N Brushes through Yelp and they got me a quote and were super friendly and responsive. I'm also super happy to give my business to a woman-owned small biz. Megan was our painter. She was courteous and did a fantastic job. I plan to hire them again in the spring when I want our basement re-painted. If you are looking for someone to hire, I would suggest Babes N Brushes all the way.

The only thing missed was the powder room door which my husband and I forgot about as it had been removed prior and was stored temporarily in the garage. Our fault and I'm not worried about it too much as we will have them back for touch ups as needed. They even provided their insurance certificate when asked. We also were happy that they used Sherwin Williams paint to cover the horrific dark gold in the communal areas and dark blue in the bedrooms. So much brighter now.

They do excellent work while being very polite, reasonable, and quick. Highly recommend!read more

My lovely wife and I have been wanting to freshen the walls and ceiling of our family room for…read moreyears. Shortly after we moved into our home, we discovered leaks in the skylights that not only damaged the drywall but, as the water ran down the vaulted ceiling, left discolored marks as well. We fixed the leaks by replacing the roof and the skylights, and the time had come to finish the job. With 20 foot vaulted ceilings and a lot of woodwork, this was a job for a pro. We extended the job to include an entryway, two hallways and a stairwell that has the same 20 foot ceiling. We interviewed four contractors that were matched with us on a home service adviser web site, not totally impressed with any of them and completely appalled by two of them, when by a stroke of providence were we contacted by Brian Joseph Painting, who saw the job on the web site but was not matched with us. From the first time we met Brian, we were impressed. Not only was his demeanor professional yet friendly, he spotted damaged areas on our ceiling and walls that even I missed, he offered great advice on color selection AND he's a music lover. We were sold. To watch Brian and his team work was something to behold. These guys know their profession but they also seemed to really enjoy what they were doing. All of our floors were protected with drop cloths, all woodwork was masked and our furniture covered with plastic before one bit of Spackle or paint was applied. Even the nails from our artwork on the walls were carefully removed, wrapped in painter's tape, and hung close to the area where they were removed. That's attention to detail. Not to forget that Brian's pricing, materials included, was very competitive and within our budget. Our home now has a beautiful fresh face for Spring, and we are so very pleased with the results. Thanks to the Brian Joseph Painting team!

Freddy and his crew have worked on several painting projects for us. Ok, pretty much the whole…read morehouse. The first was the kitchen, family room, 2 story foyer, hall and bedrooms. The walls were dark and we were switching to a lighter color. It was done neatly and perfectly. Another project was our finished basement which had several patching repairs they fixed (thanks to our four kids) and made the walls and ceiling look like new. The interior of my home looks completely transformed. They work very efficently, meticulously and are painting pros. This week they came to paint our exterior. About a week before painting, they power washed it all. We have cedar siding that needed lots of caulking and prep before staining, and a ton of white trim. Again, they didn't disappoint. I had Freddy get the paint, match the color and he used all Benjamin Moore products. We have a really tall roofline that had trim that they painted. No problem for these guys. It looks crisp and better than new. Freddy's pricing is extremely reasonable and if you were to get several quotes I am pretty confident that his would come in well under the others. Updating through text and phone, he either starts the project exactly as scheduled or earlier. This may sound basic, but these guys want to work and for that reason I will always call him for our painting needs.

I thought their estimate for the work at my fourplex was fair because it was a huge job. I had them paint the exterior of the building which has four townhomes and also the decks of the fourplex. Friday even moved furniture off the decks because I wasn't given prior notice that he was coming early to give my tenants the heads up to remove their items. Freddy also repaired loose boards and replaced ones that were rotting. I was very satisfied with this company and their communication. I asked Freddy for a second quote on two more properties that I needed just trimwork repainted. However, I didn't feel their pricing was fair, compared to the other quotes I was receiving. I did end up contracting with my former painter on this job because his estimate was significantly less. Freddy was paid $2700 for the decks at my fourplex, but he wanted $4000 for trimwork on the current job. That wasn't working for me. I would try Freddy Painting again in the future to see if his quote would be fair like the first job. He did good work.
