Allison was so nice and accommodating. She even recommended some places nearby for me to visit. Gricelda was the cleaning specialist and was amazing! She did a great job the entire time of my stay. The people in the building are also nice and greeted me daily. It was a great experience being away from home. There's a library, shops, and restaurants within walking distance! The staff was tremendously courteous in contacting, showing us units, the grounds, and even after paperwork, they followed up promptly to make sure things were as they should be.  This was a great process, we have an amazing view of the Star, and can practically touch Starbucks ( that might be a bad thing soon -_- lol ) Thank you, and bravo, to the staff here. They haven't offered to move us, haven't helped with the damage, and have completely ignored their responsibility. Because of their negligence, our belongings have been ruined. This has been a health hazard and a nightmare, and they've shown no concern or urgency to fix the situation. If you're considering moving here--don't. Save yourself the stress, the damage, and the danger. The apartment complex management doesn't have any compassion on all my items that was damaged due to mold inside the apartment and the management lied on reimbursement of my family's clothing, Furniture etc. please don't trust this place. This place is only money hungry for rent that not even worth staying here. I am rating this 2 Stars because in Roanoke Va, you can live like a KING for having to pay 875+…read moreutilities (1050-1100) a month for a SINGLE apt. You can literally have a 2 car garage 4 bedroom house in a nice neighborhood for that price in this area. This place even hikes up the meters and I have noticed significantly higher utility rates compared to other apartment places. I will say the apartments are nice BUT DONT LIVE HERE. They pulled a scheme on me. Long story short- I make good money at my job and made all payments on time. There was one month out of the 10, I went on vacation and was ONE day late. They put a nasty letter on my door titled Phase II notice of compliance threatening to send me to court and added just under 100 dollars to my rent. I pay enough as is and it was ONE day. Imagine if something came up and I could not afford rent- they won't work with or care about you. The community has nothing going on. It is just a bunch of older folks that complain if you walk to much in your apartment. They randomly show up some times without asking (Both maintenance and complaining people). I am telling you please take my review seriously before you move here. If you do not know roanoke- it is a nice place to see online and sign electronically but you will move out after the lease like most people do. It is not a bad place but realistically I would only live here if rent was 300-400 dollars cheaper for a single which would make it worth it. I hope this review helps. If you are younger and single- live downtown for that price. Some apartments are even nicer and have a lot going on. If you are married or looking to settle- you can live like a KING anywhere else. This area is safe I will say but long story short- dont live here. Not worth it

Floor panel slipped out from under my foot in the bathroom one time so they don't always have secure flooring. When you need something fixed and they ask what a good time would be to come and you give one, don't expect them to show up at that time. Every time it was way earlier and unannounced or later. Save your money. They'll tack on an extra few hundred $ after your first lease runs out. Not to mention the prices are already horrendous to begin with. Save your money and pain for another place these guys don't have your back.
