BELLEVUE DOWNTOWN PARK @ BELLEVUE…read more Parking is available in any of the nearby garages for the closest walking distance to the park. I highly recommend parking in the Macy's garage or any of the garages near Nordstrom, as they're only about a five-minute walk and super convenient. Parking is free and generally easy to find, though the structures can sometimes close when they're completely full. Even then, there are plenty of other garages nearby that are still within a short and easy walking distance. I absolutely love downtown Bellevue, it's one of my favorite places to visit because of the great food, drinks, and overall atmosphere. Bellevue Downtown Park is amazing for so many reasons. The grass is very well maintained, making it perfect for picnics or a relaxing walk. There's a beautiful fountain, small ponds throughout the park, and you'll often see ducks swimming around (though probably not during the colder season). In the winter, there's an ice rink, and during the summer it's especially lively with events like food festivals and farmers markets. I would definitely recommend stopping by Bellevue Downtown Park, especially if you have some downtime before a reservation, it's a perfect spot to walk around and enjoy the area.

This is a review of the meeting rooms and catering food served during the events…read more Let me start off by saying this venue is not perfect. It has lots of room for improvement - some of which I will get into the details later. BUT! Compared to some of the other venues in this area, they are above average. Due to the nature of my job, I have been to several meeting/ball/conference rooms at various hotels all around the world. I participate in a monthly training at Bellevue Club, so even though I am not a member there, I get to use some of their facilities and catering food. They offer several types of lunch options. Mexican, Asian, Mediterranean, and American. The food quality tbh is just okay. But okay is okay! It is what is expected of food like this that is prepared for 200+ guests. I am not sure if they make their own desserts or not but I do enjoy their desserts more often than their lunch offerings. For example, Apple Tart (as pictured) was quite good! It was very sweet but the nutty flavors from the pecans and cinnamon balanced it out. I just wish that the food quality is more consistent. Some months, we get meats that are just way over cooked. Some months they come out near perfect. They have several meeting/conference rooms of different sizes and I have been in at least 4 different rooms. The room are clean and seats are comfortable enough. Projectors work and sound system is just fine as well. Zero complaints there. All the service employees I have interacted with have been very nice! I know there is a set minimum purchase for food/drinks to rent the room(s) but I do not remember the exact dollar amount. Based on memory, I did not think it was that expensive. Parking is free but they ask us to park at the Hilton parking lot, which is within 3 minutes walking distance. Just be careful - there are some designated parking spots owned by Diamond Parking. Do NOT park in these spots. You will be fined. I do not understand what Diamond Parking owns a certain number of spots inside of a hotel parking lot. Not cool! Bellevue Club also offers valet parking. I am not sure if this is only for the hotel guests though. I have not tried but I have interacted with the valet parking staff. They are all very nice and cool. That's about it! If you need to borrow a meeting room for 100+ people on the eastside, I can definitely recommend Bellevue Club.

First visit here was to vote for 2024…read more What a first class experience - the line was long, but moved rather swiftly. The workers doing their duty for this country were educated, prepared, friendly, and professional. I'd vote here everytime for till 3000 :) because of them. Cool story, my co-worker and pod mate recently became a citizen. I think she was intimidated by the registration process as online there were some hiccups for her. After going to vote for myself, I pinged her and let her know while standing in line, they have workers helping those who haven't registered yet. I told her how great everyone was, how fast the line moved, and how easy peezy it all was. I had been trying all week to get her to vote, and after my experience at Crossroads Community Center, she did it!

This review is solely for the outdoor spaces of this Community Center, especially the tennis…read morecourts. My companion and I had driven to 3 parks in the evening, a week or two ago, looking for a tennis court. The tennis courts were full at every one of the 3 parks that we drove to! It was about to get dark soon, so we thought that it might get dark if we tried to wait for a court at one of the parks. So, we drove here as our last try to find an open outdoor public tennis court that evening. Thankfully both tennis courts were open here when we arrived! As you can see on the ground around me, the tennis courts had quite a bit of tree debris on them (mostly twigs and pine cones). However, we were able to play tennis here for about an hour and the pine cones and twigs didn't really interfere with our play, so 5 stars from me! The second tennis court was occupied by 2 other tennis players shortly after our arrival. They were very considerate and threw the stray ball back to us when it landed in their area, and we did the same for them. The parking lot is smallish, but it was sufficient for our needs and it was only about half full. The winding path to get to the tennis courts was a lovely place for a short stroll, with tall trees surrounding the path. There is a kids play area near the tennis courts. Kids seemed happy about playing there on the evening of our visit. There is also a 4-hoop basketball court adjacent to the tennis courts. It was full for most of the time that we were playing tennis. I liked the high fences around this space, so we didn't have to worry about a basketball getting in the way of our tennis play. It's been years since I last played tennis. I played tennis a lot growing up, mostly with my Mom, who is extremely competitive. I'm not super competitive myself, I prefer to be collaborative in most cases, but I was delighted that my companion and I each won 5 of our 10 games, because I do like doing physical activities with people of similar skill levels. Super nice and peaceful area, and a great place to play tennis. We may return!
