Weeks would go by without a callback or a response to our email. We continued to try to contact Chad or Keith for information regarding the $300,000+ house we wanted to build with DB Homes. We had two property owners waiting for our word to sell us their properties. We told them for weeks that we were waiting to hear from DB Homes regarding questions we had about our estimate. We never heard back from Chad or Keith. It is with sincere sorrow and deep disappointment that we have to inform you we are no longer interested in any type of business with DB Homes. Our experience with your company has been nothing but a disappointment and frankly pathetic experience with a sales team that is far too busy for our business. We have posted our review on Yelp. VERY professional. DB is the 3rd place we've gone to this year for a price quote on 2 homes…read morew/garages. Everyone wants to order their house asap - but DB knows (through experience) how people can change their mind about what they THINK they want -vs- what they REALLY want in their home. So DB does not rush through the ordering process, which saves a lot of headaches down the road once construction has started. After we meet with them, our price quotes come within a week - then we review the quote and make any necessary changes, then schedule an appointment with them to make those changes (or we can email it to them). Then we get our new quote in a week. (and there's no mistakes - everything we said we wanted was quoted accurately!). The 1st place we went to - they were NOT professional - took forever to get our quotes and when we did there were TONS of mistakes even though I gave them paper copies, photos, and emails of what we needed to order, then it took over a month before I'd hear ANYTHING from them - after 4 months of inaccurate quotes and hassles, we gave up on Hemminger Homes and went to somewhere else. The 2nd place we went to, Mt. View Homes, promised we would have our price quote in a week........and that was 4 weeks ago, and they haven't even bothered trying to contact us at all.......so we contacted DB Homes. DB Homes had me email them our floor plans prior to our 1st appointment (our appointment was the same week we initially called them), and when we met with them for the 1st time, they gave us price quote estimates based on our floor plans that we sent them - VERY IMPRESSIVE. AND, they were extremely understanding and nice to our 4 year old granddaughter who was with us for hours as we went through our options for the homes........Keith even went to the Disney Channel and asked her what she would like to watch. They also treated her to paper/pens, pretzels, cookies, crackers, candy, and even some toys!

They constructed a large back deck, taking into consideration the handicapped needs of one of us. Tom aims to provide quality work at a reasonable price inside and outside. They have helped us even in smaller jobs like replacing an odd-sized bathroom door and cleaning out our gutters. Most recently they installed new double ovens when the supplier failed to measure the fit correctly and we needed Tom's carpentry skills. Tom brings decades of experience. I'm a single female, thank goodness I only had to move a minimal amount of large furniture and the majority of my possessions were not excessively large. To add insult to injury they never even bothered responding to my texts on the day of the move. Also, someone actually answered but then immediately hung up when I tried to call. Prior to that day we had set up the appointment via text and everything seemed legit. Lesson learned. Don't count on Hustle Man.. they're unprofessional and unreliable.
