My main reason for getting one is to also stop my period. She said that stopping my period wasn't possible. That didn't make sense to me so I got a second opinion. A different OB told me that if insurance would pay for it you can burn the lining and hopefully no longer get your period. Whether or not Dr. Anthony knows this, she didn't communicate it to me and therefor didn't give me all my options.

Home health can be challenging at times, but Fred handles everything with patience, kindness, and genuine compassion. This comment pertains to the latter but should be considered to possibly reflect the Hospice service. HH is operated by staff that are essentially incompetent in many topics of health care and maintenance. They listen poorly and understand less. It is pitiful when you go the extra mile to explain and they misconstrue and become defensive. PCP providers essentially phone it in, visit reports filings for some take a month, and requests are garbled. I had 2 PCPs. Both were nurses. The first moved on, I complained to the point where I no longer would see him. Both appeared to be phoning it in on a regular basis without accomplishing tasks for the actual benefit of the patient. Both used cut and paste paste histories with out addressing current and neglected pressing issues. The positive factor was one Wound Care Nurse who treated me at another agency, but quit that for Symbii. He was competent and diligent but quit seeing me for inadequate reasons. He was good, but the house is on fire. You should get the point. Avoid Symbii, if using Symbii, check patient progress and possible negligence.

But almost everyone else who I have worked with/talked to is so hard for me (Many of the nurses and PAC's). They don't take time to read the charts or they don't understand certain things so I have to retell my story everytime and it is so annoying and makes appointments a lot harder. I have a history of recurrent pregnancy loss and Dr. Kirkman has been amazing to work with. The office is HORRIBLE at returning phone calls HORRIBLE. They never call me back with lab results, I always have to call them and am usually on hold for 10+ minutes. I think they have called me back 2/10 times when they said they would and it was always at least a few days or weeks later than they said I should expect the call. The only reason we stay here is because of Dr. Kirkman. After our third miscarriage, Mickensi Paget said "like 90% of miscarriages are genetic and are just chromosomal abnormalities so if I were you guys I wouldn't even worry! Who knows, maybe next time you'll have twins." And then she said "and next pregnancy we'll have you take progesterone and baby aspirin." I told her I was taking it during that pregnancy and she said ... "oh you were? Dang. That helps almost everyone we see." That is not the time or place to say any of those things and I know a lot of miscarriages are due to chromosomal abnormalities, but it isn't 90% of them, especially not with recurrent loss. There was no reason for her to say those things and my husband and I both felt they were very insensitive comments. I hope she can realize the effect of her words and next time stick with "I'm sorry you're going through this" or anything else then what she said.

We decided this in march that August would be perfect. So, I called savaii, at the budge urology and she quoted us $2511.48 for the surgery. But she can't book us for August until July... a little annoying but whatever. We go to a required consult and pay $50. Cool. Then July 6 savaii calls my husband to schedule for August 4th. He says perfect and they hang up. I get home later and he asked me what she said the cost would be, I remind him that it's $2511.48 and he said she changed it to $3590! UM NO. Wtf??? So I called and she said it's a nation wide raise on this specific surgery. Canceled our appt, called dr.larsons office who is also in Logan UT. THEY STILL COST BETWEEN $2300-$2500. Nation wide raise my butt. I hate being lied to and taken advantage of. She didn't even tell us at the consultation that the cost had risen. Go see Ryan Larsen. Skip the budge clinic.
